In the darkest hour of the night, where everyone have already or about to hit the beds, the tube light of one room was still shining bright at the Diwedi's. Travelling into the room, a girl's voice was very well audible.

"Bus pass", "Check"

"Books", "Check"

"Wallet", "Check", "Check"

"Money in Wallet", "Double Check"

It was Roli and she was getting ready for her first day in the final semester of her under graduation. "Ooph ooh, Roli madam, you have forgotten to keep your college id card", she scolding herself.

"College id card", now, "Triple Check"

"Didi, please switch off the light. I am feeling sleepy" groaned Gautham.

"Almost done.. I need to recheck the list again now" she said while verifying and satisfied with her checklist, she tried to dunk herself into sleep so as to not miss any the bus for the next day.

Before when, she remembered that, she had forgotten to wish her father "good night", she got up again and rushed towards her parent's room.

She could not find him there, hence wished her mom who was already in half sleep.

Roli knows that he cannot sleep without wishing her and paced her steps towards the living room, where she found him still waiting her.

She walked towards him saying, "Papa, this is too bad. You should have gone to sleep earlier. Why are still awake?"

Jamnalal turned towards her, hearing her voice and responded saying, "Roli beta, how do you expect me to sleep, without wishing you good night?"

Beautiful start looking forward to next up date which I hope will be soon Deeksha.😃 And how have you being long time not heard from you .

Roli could hardly speak, still she tries to brush her emotions aside and says, "This is a really bad thing which you are getting into practice". "Now, get up and go to sleep".

Jamnalal speaks as his voice trembles, "I don't know how I'll be able to be without you after marriage". "I'll try to get into practice sooner as you have already reached the right age for marriage".

Roli trying to fake a irritated voice, "that's why I don't want to get married at all" and now in a very serious tone, "if that's the situation, I'll never leave you".

"Roli beta, don't say like that, it's a father's biggest dream to get his daughter married and see her living happily." "I want this dream of mine to happen soon" saying so, he was trying comfort both his daughter and himself.

Roli replied, "Don't worry Papa, I'll write to you regularly"

Jamnalal, in an attempt to put the situation into ease, "Beta better say that, you would try to call me every day. In which era are you in? Here, I speak about calling through phones and my daughter speaks like her grandmother saying that, "she'll write to me often" (he tries to imitate he though he barely does it).

Roli tries to show an annoyed face but, ends up laughing with her father and assures him that she will call him every day and both of them walk to their beds wishing "good night" again.
