Part 30

Siddhant was called for playing out door games by his office friends that weekend.

Sid informed ROli that he will play for sometime and return.

Roli was thinking he will be back before noon.

ROli finished the cooking and was waiting for him.

She put the washing machine and washed all the clothes. Then put the vessels in dishwashter and clean that too.

Still no sign of his return.

Roli was getting upset.

She was getting bored alone at home.

Roli thought of calling India. But it will be their night time and unnecessarily what to disturb them. So she dropped that idea.

Then ROli was thinking of switching on the TV. But she remembered those scenes which was making her restless. She decided instead not to see TV at all.

ROli switched on the music system and put her favorite songs.

The songs which she was hearing so many times were giving different feeling to her now. Her mind imagined herself and Siddhant for those songs and made her turn pink. She better switched of the music system itself.

Roli was walking this side and that side for long.

Then she took her mobile to call him. But found his mobile switched off.

Roli was very much irritated and got little angry too.

ROli was thinking, let him come i am not going to talk to him. He got no bother about the wife waiting for him at home and spending time with friends.

Roli was waiting without even having food.

FInally he came by evening...

Sid as soon as entered home looked at Roli sitting upset.

Sid went near her and sat beside her.

Sid: Roli is angry with me.

Roli: No need to talk to me.

Sid: Oh! SO much angry. I am sorry. I too did not expect it will take till evening.

Roli: Who i am to complaint about you coming home early or late?

Sid: Who else will complaint then other than ROli?

He asked with a smile.

Roli: You got so many friends to play with. Where you even remember i am waiting for you without having food?

SId was shocked.

Sid: You did not have food also.

Sid rushed inside and bring the food in a plate.

Sid: ROli, now eat this like a good girl ok.

Sid feed Roli the food.

Roli: Did you had food?

Sid: Where can I have when i was playing? Only had juices.

Roli feed the food to him too.

Roli: Why staying empty stomach the whole day?

Sid: Then what about you! Why you stay empty stomach the whole day.

ROSID smiled.

Roli: If you do like this next time, i not only complaint to you but also to Mataji you remember.

Sid hold his ears.

Sid: Oh ROli! WIll take care that no such happen in future. Dont be angry.

ROli removed his hands from his ears and lean on his shoulders.

Roli: You know how much i was feeling bored without you alone in the house.

Sid: I do agree. From now. If i am going somewhere then it will be with you only. Ok.

ROli wrap her hands around him and smiled...

Part 31

Siddhant returned from office excited.

Roli noticed on seeing his face & understood he is happy.

Roli: siddhant you seems to be very happy.

Sid: hmm. You understood with my face itself.

Roli: why not? Tell me what it is!

Sid: roli I got promotion & increment.

Roli: is it! Congrats.

Sid: only one thing is disturbing me

Roli: what it is?

Sid: I need to shift to different city. As I got transfer too.

Roli: what? What are you talking?

Sid: Yes roli. I need to leave to that city next week. Then we can see only once in a week or once in a month.

Roli face was dried from happiness.

Roli did not talk anything further till they reach home.

Then roli went to prepare dinner.

They had dinner too without talking with each other.

Sid was silently looking for her expression

Finally they went to bed.

Roli turned against him and lay down in the bed.

Her eyes were filled with tears.

Sid was waiting for a while & after knowing she is crying, he was unable to hold more.

Sid hold her shoulder & turned towards him.

Sid: roli you won't talk to me. Not even sleep on my shoulder. Above that when I gave you happy news why are you crying.

Roli: which happy news? Going somewhere leaving me is the happy news?

Sid: Roli, see this is my career and I don't want you to interfere in this.

Roli: well I am not interfering in your career that is why practicing now itself to be silent without talking, to lay down in the pillow instead of your shoulders.

Sid: good decision. Good try. So you are ready to face it.

Roli: I am left with no other option too now.

Sid: you are left with no other option. Hmmm. Tell that looking at me.

Roli looked into his eyes.

Roli started crying & lean on his shoulder and hug tightly.

Sid console her by caressing her hair.

sid: now tell me. Shall I go. You can manage

Roli: no siddhant. I can't manage. I can't stay without talking to you. I can't sleep without your shoulder.

Sid: so now you will interfere in my career.

Roli: of course I will. I will interfere.

Sid: roli just a minute I will come.

Sid showed the letter given by sid to his management rejecting the transfer, promotion as well as increment.

Roli: you rejected the offer.

Sid: yes roli. I rejected. How can i go leaving you alone?

Roli: then why you did not tell this first itself.

Sid: I wanted to know how you react for that. But roli you become ready to prepare yourself. That moment I thought I did mistake of rejecting the offer.

Roli punch his chest softly.

Roli in happiness clasp her hands around his neck and kissed on his cheeks.

Sid too kissed on her cheeks.

Roli hug him tightly...

Part 32

Roli was doing cleaning work in the kitchen.

When she was dusting the upper shelf she got sprain on her hip.

Roli: ooch!

Sid heard her voice.

Said rushed towards her.

Sid: roli what happened?

Roli: I got sprain.

Sid: sprain!!! I told you not to do alone. Why can't you take my help.

Sid hold her hands & bring her to the hall.

Roli: siddhant it is paining.

Sid: where the sprain is?

Roli: in the hip.

Sid: come & lay down in the bed.

Sid took her to the bed & made her lay down.

He took the first aid box & took the ointment for sprain.

Sid: which place show me?

Roli: no siddhant. I will apply on my own.

Sid: why roli?

Roli blushed.

Sid: you mean I don't have rights to...

Roli turned & showed the place where she got sprain.

Sid with a smile lift the T-shirt she was wearing.

He started applying the ointment and gently massage.

Roli turned pink by his touch.

After a while he finished applying.

Sid: how you feel now?

Roli turned towards him & hide her face on his shoulder...

Part 33

Rosid went for weekend party.

They enjoyed the party for a while.

Then sid was offered with hot drinks by his friend.

Sid took the glass in his hands.

Roli noticed this & went near him.

Roli: siddhant what is this?

Sid: roli what do you mean?

Roli: I mean what are you trying to do now with this glass

Sid: roli, what sort of question is this? I am going to have drinks.

Roli: that's why asking. What all these new habits?

Sid: roli we are in party & we can't avoid all these. We need to

Roli: no. I can't accept we need to because we have come for the party. There is no such rule.

Sid: then there is no rule that we should not drink right? Look at all. Everyone is drinking.

Roli: I am not bothered about others. I am only concern about you.

Sid: please roli don't come up with new rules.

Roli: I am not..

Sid: roli please don't argue. We are in public place.

Roli: OK. You do whatever you want.

Roli moved from there.

Sid was holding the glass & was thinking whether to drink or not.

Roli decided to teach him lesson.

She too took a glass in her hands.

Roli went to few feet away from sid & stand as if he can see her.

Sid looked her with the glass & was shocked.

Sid was about to move towards her when his colleague went near roli.

He asked roli whether she is interested to dance with Him.

Roli accepted & started dancing with him to tease sid.

Sid got angry by this.

He stopped where he was without moving towards her.

Roli with glass & with other guy was giving irritation to him.

He was starring at roli.

Roli was enjoying seeing his reaction.

Sid was feeling jealous & she was enjoying seeing him jealous.

Sid was trying to control him. But was unable to for very long time.

Sid went near her finally.

Sid: excuse me...

He said & pulled her towards him to dance with him.

Roli: what siddhant? Why you disturbed? I was enjoying.

Sid: roli. I can't allow you to do so.

Roli: why you have made your rules or what?

Sid: you think whatever you want. But can't see this.

Roli: siddhant you accept now such rules are there which need to be there with us? I can't allow you to drink or go with other girls & you too can't allow me to drink & allow me to go with other guys.

Sid: accepted. 100%.

Rosid smiled.

Sid pulled her more closer & started dancing with her in passion.

They kept the glasses back & join their hands.

They danced together forgetting the world.

Siddhant placed a kiss on her cheeks when unnoticed by others.

Roli blushed...

Part 34

The days were passing.

The climate was getting worst.

Siddhant got cold & cough. Also had high temperature too.

Doctor advised to take rest & prescribed medicines.

Roli too took leave so that she can take care of him.

Roli gave tea & bread.

After sometime..

Sid: roli let me take bath.

Roli: what are talking? You are having temperature. If you want you can have towel bath.

Sid: what roli?

Roli: nothing doing. Wait I will come.

Roli bring hot water in a bowl & took a towel.

She kept it in the side table.

Roli started removing the shirt button.

Sid: roli, what are you doing?

Roli: nothing. Going to give towel bath.

She continued

Sid: roli don't try to take advantage of my illness

He said with a smile.

Roli: yes. I am planning for taking advantage only. Don't you know. The same advantage which you took when I got sprain on my hip.

Roli said & by now she removed all the buttons.

She went closer & removed the shirt.

Her breathing air was felt by him.

After removing the shirt she gave towel bath to him.

After finishing when she was about to leave he hold her hands.

He pulled her close to him & hug her tightly.

She turn pink on the touch of his skin on her body.

Roli too wrap her hands around him.

After a while.

Roli moved apart & put another tshirt to him.

Sid: roli...

Roli: siddhant who tried to take advantage now. You only pulled by holding my hands.

Sid: hmmm.. well. So you was pushing me away or what? Who was in unconscious state for a while in my shoulders?

He asked with a wink.

Roli blushed...

Part 35

Roli was in deep sleep.

Siddhant slowly removed her hands around him & made her sleep in the pillow.

He came out & locked the bedroom door.

He was decorating the hall beautifully with balloon & candles.

It was Around 11:55 pm.

Sid went inside the bedroom and closed the door.

Sid went near roli.

Sid: roli...roli...

Roli got up with a surprise why he is waking her up.

Roli: what happened siddhant?

Sid:roli you are sleeping while some important thing is going to happen in our hall.

Roli: what it is?

Sid: come with me & see.

Sid hold her hands & bring her to hall.

Roli was pleasantly surprised seeing decorated hall.

Sid went inside & bring the cake too & kept it in the table.

Sid: ROil Happy birthday.

The clock showed the time as 12 o clock.

Roli: thank you. You made all these for my birthday?

Sid: then what for who else other than Roli?

Roli smiled.

Roli cut the cake & feed to sid. Sid too feed the cake to roli.

Sid cup her face and kissed on her cheeks.

Then on her forehead.

Sid moved towards her lips while roli pushed him and tried to move from there.

Sid hold her hands & pulled towards him.

Sid: why roli? Do you have restrictions!!!

Roli blushed

Roli: yes. I do. Restrictions given by my shyness.

Sid: roli.. then you need to restrict that shyness itself.

Roli: I wish. But I am unable to. What can I do?

Sid left her.

Sid: OK. I will give you time to give restriction to your shyness.

He said with a smile on his lips & eyes..

Rosid went back to their bed.

Both were not getting sleep for long time.

Roli lift her face & look into his eyes.

Roli run her fingers on his hair & moved towards his lips.

Sid was surprised.

They closed their eyes & enjoyed the moment for long..

They were disturbed by the call received by roli from India.

They moved their lips apart & roli got up.

She took the phone & it was from their family members.

All wish her for her birthday.

Mataji: roli with the happiness of your birthday, we got some good news to tell you...

Rosid were excited to know what the good news is!!!

Roli: what it is mataji??

Mataji: your simar didi is pregnant.

Roli: what???

Mataji: yes. She is pregnant. Talk to her.

Roli: simar didi congrats

Simar: thanks roli.

Roli: very happy didi

Simar: roli I feel like seeing you as it went long seeing you.

Roli: I will try didi & will let you know.

Simar: OK roli. Look at your convenience.

They talk for sometime & line was disconnected.

Roli looked at sid

Roli: siddhant didi wish to see me.

Sid: OK check for your leave & we can buy tickets.

Roli: leave is not a problem as we just finished a project & time is there for next project. I will get it.

Sid: then you proceed.

Roli: what proceed? How can I leaving you? Can you too come with me?

Sid: no roli. I got work you know. It is in finishing stage. I can't get leave.

Roli: then I am also not going.

Sid: why roli? It is just matter of few days. You go I will manage.

Roli: sure!!!

Sid: yes sure. I will book the ticket for you tomorrow.

Roli: thank you.

She kissed on his cheeks & slept...

Part 37

Siddhant booked the ticket for her the next day.

SId: ROli, I booked the ticket. You can apply for leave & proceed.

Roli nod her head as acceptance, but she gave a longing look at him.

Roli prepared food and they started for office.

Roli all the way in the car did not talk to him.

ROli was thinking, SIddhant are you happy that i am going leaving you. Why cant you tell me not to go? WOnt you miss me.

Siddhant was thinking, ROli are you ok going India leaving me. Can you stay there alone leaving me? WHy dont you tell i am not going leaving you?

Roli's office reached & she got down waving good bye to him with a dry smile on her face.

Roli applied for leave & it got sanctioned.

Roli took permission and reached home early.

She packed her clothes specifically sarees as she is going to India to her Sasural house.

The paper which Sid signed fell down from one of the saree as she kept it inside it.

Roli opened the paper & gone through it & smiled.

She kissed on his signature and kept it inside the bag.

ROli prepaed the dinner and was waiting for Sid.

Sid reached home and tried to be casual.

Sid: Roli did you packed your dressed.

Roli: Yes.

Sid: Take care and dont get panic if you miss the way or anything in the transhipment point.

Roli: Ok

SId: Convey my enquiries to all our family members

Roli: Sure

Sid: Shall we have dinner.

ROli served food and they had dinner together without talking to each other.

Roli washed her face & changed her dress to Saree.

When ROli came out in saree, his heart skipped its beat for a second. Still he managed to be casual.

SId: ROli are you going to wear saree through out travel. You can even change after reaching India.

ROli: Its ok.

The time has come for her to start her journey.

Roli took few steps towards door and turned towards Sid.

Sid eyes called her and rushed to hug him.

Roli wrap her hands around his waist and hug tightly.

Sid too hold her hips and pulled her more closer.

SId too wrap his hands around her and hug tightly.

After a while.

Roli cup his face and kissed on his cheeks.

SId too cup her face and kissed on her cheeks.

ROSID moved towards each other lips...

They enjoyed the moment for a while...

After few minutes their lips moved apart and hug relaxed.

They looked at each other and had eye lock for a while.

Then they realised getting late for the flight.

Sid: ROli.. Shall we go. You are getting late.

Roli: Ok...

ROSID started from home and travel towards the airport.

After few minutes, Roli moved towards him and lean on this shoulders.

Finally after a long drive they reached the airport on right time.

ROSID looked at each other before getting down the car and moved towards each other lips for a peck.

Roli entered into the airport and Sid came with her till where he was allowed to come.

Now Sid cant go further with her.

Sid: Roli, call me as soon as you reach India.

Roli: Yes. WIll do.

SId: Take care.

Roli: Take care.

Their eyes showed their longing for the other and moved apart.

Roli checkin the airport while Sid started his return journey towards their home with loads & loads of her memory...

Roli reached the transhipment airport.

Roli switched on the mobile after getting down from plane while she received his call.

Sid: ROli are you ok.

Roli: Yes Siddhant i am ok.

Sid: Roli.. Will you manage to get into the connecting flight.

ROli; Yes will do as i am going with other passengers going to Delhi.

Sid: I am worried

Roli: Dont worry.

Sid: Call me as soon as reaching Delhi airport.

ROli: Yes. WIll do for sure. I reached the plane Siddhant.

SId: Ok Roli. Take care.

ROli: You too take care Siddhant.

Roli switched of the mobile and continued her journey in the connecting flight.

Roli was waiting to swich on the mobile reaching Delhi.

As soon as she down from the place, switched on the mobile.

Before she tried to call him, she received the call from him.

SId: ROli did you reached Delhi.

Roli: Yes just now got down the plane and switched on the mobile.

Sid: Roli check whether someone from our house came to pick up you or catch taxi.

Roli: Yes will do.

SId: Shall i keep the phone.

ROli: Yes. I will call once reaching home.

SId: I will be waiting for your call.

ROli: SUre.

Roli disconnected the line and check out from the airport.

Roli found Prem in the airport waiting for her.

Prem took the luggage and both get into the car.

Prem: How are you ROli?

ROli: I am fine SIddhant.

Prem: Roli where are you lost?

Roli got back her conscious.

ROli: Yes jiju.

Prem: Missing him.

ROli: Nothing like that jiju.

Prem: You know what was my first question & your answer.

Roli: What jiju? I think you asked where are you lost?

Prem: Very good. You know i asked how are you & you replied 'I am fine Siddhant.'

Roli blushed.

Roli: Sorry i did not realise.

Prem: hmmm. In the meantime, you will call him Siddhant. Well.

Roli realised he called in mere name and need to be careful in front of family members.

Prem: ROli, Did you called him & informed reached safe. If not take my phone and call him.

Roli: He called as soon as I got down from flight & i informed him.

Prem: Hmmm. When you both went from here. You did not realise to call & inform us for almost half day. But now he realised to call as soon as his wife got down from the flgiht. May be he was waiting for your mobile to switch on.

Roli: Jiju, started now itself.

In the meantime, they reached Bharatwaj house.

ROli got down from the car and went inside the house.

She remembered the moment she enter with him into this house.

Roli took the blessings of the elders.

ROli hug SImar and congratulated her.

Roli sat in the sofa for a while.

ALl the family members were asking her various questions.

Roli was managing to answer, but her thoughts were around him.

Roli wish to go to their room and call him.

Premar noticed ROli lost on her own thoughts.

Simar: ROli..

ROli: Yes didi.

SImar: Roli, now only you came all the way. We will talk later. You go to your room and take rest for some time.

Roli was happy on hearing this. Now her face showed a big smile

Roli: Ok didi.

Roli rushed towards their room as if just waiting for those words to be told to go to their room.

Premar looked at each other & smiled.

Roli entered into thier room and locked the door.

Roli took her mobile & jumped in the bed,

Roli called his number.

Sid: ROli.. YOu reached home.

ROli: Yes. I reached home. Also reached our room too.

SId: Roli...

ROli: hmmm

SId: I miss you

Roli: I miss you too...

Sid: Why dont you tell i am not going?

Roli: Why dont you tell dont go?

Sid: Roli will you adjust this one week alone there without me.

ROli; It is very difficult. But what can be done i have come all the way and no other go now.

ROSID were talking to each other very long without having interest of disconnecting the line and cut thier conversation.

Roli mobile was out of charge & she put the mobile for charging & continued her talk with him.

Finally Sid asked that question..

Sid: ROli shall i ask you something.

ROli: Yes Siddhant. Ask me. No need for you to ask permission to ask something to me.

Sid: Roli...

Roli; Hmmm

SId: Roli am i only your friend???

Roli was shocked on this question and did not reply for a while.

Sid: Roli.. Why no reply? Tell me naa. Am i only your friend?

ROli: SIddhant do you think so? Then you tell me am i only your friend?

SId: Roli, i dont want to foolish ourselves anymore. You are not my friend

Roli: You are also not my friend.

Sid: THen who am I to you Roli.

ROli: Siddhant i cant tell you that over phone.

Sid: Then will you make me to wait till we meet each other.

Roli:Of course. you need to wait.

Sid; Roli this is not fair. Please tell me. I cant wait.

Roli: What can i do? YOu did not ask this question all these days and asking me after sending to India taking the ticket yourself. Now you dont have any other option other than to wait...

Part 39

Roli got up disconnecting the line and took bath.

SHe was excited and wear her favorite color saree and went down to have breakfast.

The happiness of her was easily shown on her face.

All sat for having breakfast.

Roli was eating thinking about him and their discussion. She is happy that he confirmed that she is not his friend. Though she knows it already, she did not talk to him directly all these days. Also she knows he was in the same state of mind.

She remembered them having food together, their sweet moments. Their hugs, kisses...

Roli face turned pink.

Premar noticed it and smiled looking at each other.

Prem: ROli, you got any idea to have food in the dining table.

Roli hearing that realised she did not start eating yet.

Roli with a smile started having the food.

Simar: What ROli? I am not seeing my same sister who i have ever met earlier.

Roli: Nothing like that didi.

She said with a blush.

Prem: Simar, did you noticed the difference of the Nothing like that which they used to give us as reply earlier & the one now.

Simar: Yes Premji, the word 'Nothing' itself is revealing so many things.

Roli: Didi.. you both started again.

Prem: Leave us. Tell me now when all these started between you both who were not having anything between them all these days.

Roli: Even now nothing is there jiju.

Simar: is it!!!

ROli: Yes didi.

She said again with a blush.

Prem: Roli are you having fear to accept your defeat in the challenge we made.

Roli gave a smile as reply.

Premar were teasing her throughout having breakfast.

Roli finished her breakfast and rushed to her room.

Roli in their room was full of memories of Sid.

Roli felt like he is in the bed beside him.

When she went close to him to place a kiss he disappeared.

Roli then realised it is her imagination.

ROli to herself: Siddhant, why you did not ask that question long back? I cant blame you too. I too did not ask that question to you. When i meet you, i will tell you who you are for me.

Roli blushed.

ROli to herself: Siddhant dont you know who i am to you. Dont pretend as if not knowing anything.

Roli was restless.

Roli took the mobile thinking of calling him. But she realised this will be his night time and she should not disturb him.

Roli opened the photo gallery in the mobile.

ROli was having some photos of Sid which she took when they went out in the weekend.

Roli saw his photo and took it close to her face and kissed.

That was the moment Premar entered her room with a smile.

Prem: Roli, NOw you got no other way other than accepting your defeat in the challenge.

ROli got up with a blush hearing Prem's voice.

Prem took the mobile from her & looked at the photo of Sid in the mobile.

Prem: Not bad. He is looking good.
