Television show Sasural Simar Ka is all set to take its first time leap " of around two years " soon.
A new family will be introduced and Dipika Samson, who plays the title role, will gain more prominence. As the story unfolds, she will go missing, only to be found with another family " a new husband and two-year-old kid in tow " after the leap.

Says a source, "The new track will last for around three months. Since it's a small leap, no major shuffle is expected in the cast. Dipika will have a new look, inspired by Vidya Balan's in Paa. Apart from that, there won't be much of a difference in anybody's look, including Avika Gor's (Dipika's on-screen sister Roli)." Both Dipika and Avika didn't revert to our text message.
