Spot-fixing affects IPL viewership

In the last week of the IPL, the GRPs of the channel Max dropped from 229 to 170. Of course, every season the GRPs drop towards the end of IPL as the matches become fewer. But this time, it's gone further down compared to last year's GRP of 183. So the verdict? Viewership did get affected post the spot-fixing scandal. Television Rating Points (TRPs), for the period May 18-May 24, are based on industry sources

was bumped off. But the girl made an reentry as Jhumki. The serial got a TRP of 2.5 (last week it got 2.4).

To drop from 2.4 to 1.5 is too much to believe in a span of 1 week...2.5 seems more believable... so 2.5 seems more likely..
