Mr.Ravi Ojha felicitated by Star*link added pg.1*

OK this is not directly related to SGP but if you see it in another wa,Mr.Ravi Ojha=Ravi Ojha Productions=SGP,so thought of sharing since we all know how much he is an integral part of the show.😛

So i was watching this regional award function organized by Star for their bengali channel(regional version of SPA) and the function fecilitated Mr.Ravi Ojha by actually bringing up on stage.The heads of the channel how important he has been for Star with his shows being a hit.Well his condition isn't actually good.He was brought in a wheel chair and wasn't able to talk,but nonetheless he was given a standing ovation by the audience and people sitting in the chair literally came up on the stage and started hugging him.😊 Two leading actors from the industry and spoke about how Mr.Ravi Ojha has made them a movie star from a simple tv star.The actress spoke about how he has been a guide and a school of learning for her and whatever she is today is only because of him and another actor said that he is like the base of a pyramid for television where he is deeply rooted to the ground and helps people rise with his help to the top.I really liked the gesture showed by the channel towards him and the respect given to Mr.Ojha by the channels and audience alike.Everyone was crying seeing his condition and Mr.Ojha himself couldn't hold back his tears.

My point in bringing this post was to bring out a question,now that the show is ending.Hasn't SGP helped STAR even for once to climb the ladder of success?The show gave the channel a push in a slot no one could imagine...SGP came within the top 10 shows so many times..the TRPs for STAR..SO why this royal ignore from STAR from the begining of the show?Leave promotions and everything but if I remember last to last year,they actually felicitated the directors from all the top shows except for Mr.Ojha.Even during the award functions I see the head honchos mentioning a particular Rajan Shahi,Pearl grey..no problem..but why not a certain Mr.Ojha?I know they felicitated him last year but we all saw how he was differently felicitated from the others.🥱

On a side note,this award function might have a lower budget than SPA,might have a less shimery stage,less known artists,poor performances,etc..but I swear they have the nominations which actually makes the award STAR Parivaar!They felicitate every single director,writer and team of ALL their shows on air,and even give special awards for the serials gone off air as a token of farewell.

Sharm Un Ko Magar Nahi Aatee !!! thats what Star Plus is, chadtay Soraj kay Pujari... what can I say ...its there game, money game..nothing else matter to them.
I am just thinking about how SGP held the slot leaders for 2 years ...its in March that they lost it .
They made there minds with in last few days as otherwise during SPA they should have given some special mention to SGP of going air like giving to Bidai team .The decision was made by people behind closed door, somebody,s loss somebody,s gain.

This is the thing I mad at about Shounak. I know that SGP had to end sooner or later like every show but the treatment that its getting from these losers is what has me angry😡. They did the same to Ekta Kapoor...regardless of what you feel about her and her shows, there is NO denying that she has made Indian TV what it is today, she literally made Star Plus into the number 1 channel it so boastfully clams to be. It is because of Balaji Telefilms and Kyunki,Kahani,Kasauti that this channel even got its due, and yet they shun her like she's some kind of an outcast, I am an EK premi(lol guilty and yes even I hate her shows sometimes) but still shunning someone like that who literally made you who you are is a big No No.


I agree from what I have seen regional channels are far better than the head channels (I sometimes watch Zee Gujrati and what not on free previews) and their way of handling shows is something really different

I'm glad that Mr Ohja got that recognition from the regional channel atleast and I hope he gets better (BTW sorry for sounding rude but what exactly was wrong with him??). I also noticed that last year they awarded Rajan Shahi (PUKE🤢) and that Pratigya lady, the SNS team(someone shoot me now😳) , again nothing wrong with that since yes they did help the channel get their TRPs as well but why leave about Mr Ohja when it was SGP that started the rend of early prime time shows...SGP was the first show in the 7:30 time slot which managed such a huge success and then came CB2, SSK, SNS etc by seeing the success of SGP in that spot.

Tani,he was suffering from Meningitis.I think an article came where it was written he has recovered but still I don't think he is completely ok to make a comeback and work as a director.

I don't know what to say...SGP's methodology of marketing is beyond my scope of understanding as it always seemed contradictory many times. Khair, they're still number one so I'll just assume it's some strategy that's working for them. 😆 Like seriously, if you think about it...despite the unfair treatments, has any viewer actually stayed away from SP? Everyone still watches the channel for one reason or another. 😉

exactly Rups I was thinking the same...but thank God I never was star plus viewer except the singing or dancing competition Shows ...I had no idea about any of the show, it comes with the kind of sky package I have got. SGP was my first ever show and definetly the last unless Ragini comes in any other soap ( which I seriously don't want so soon , some other venture but not a soap ) I came to know about other shows from the forum as we loved pulling there legs, only know SNS well as sometimes I turn the tv on just before SGP so knows what SNS is about . But generally most of people knows about all the other shows and watch them regularly despite saying what a bukwaas channel star is !!! That's why working for star is much more beneficial for the actors as it is most watched channel globally and in inida too.

Very well said, Sheema. 👏 And that's my sentiments too...I understand a lot of people find this channel very crappy and in terms of judging the quality of the channel, it's not that great considering what kinds of shows are aired on it. Nonetheless, in terms of TRPs, it has gained a very wide audience, even of us SGPians who find other shows rubbish. And let's face it...we have our own multitude of reasons for watching Star Plus: primarily for SGP, then to capture glimpses of what funny business is going on other shows (only to end up watching the whole episode to gossip about it and then finally the whole serial 🤣), the reality shows, and the infamous Star Parivaar Awards.

So I truly commend the channel for really knowing how to make their money and staying ahead of the game in being number one. 👏 They have proved to me that you can still sell rotten tomatos and have people addicted to them. 🤣

Sheema di I agree...I say the same thing every time that I hate SP and will never watch it again but somehow I always have that one show that I watch on SGP. When TL ended I had SGP to still watch, now SGP's ending I still have EHMMBH (and only because I am a die hard VirIka/KryAn fan warna woh show I would have stopped watching some weeks back) and I'm sure in the future there will be that one show that I have to tolerate this god forsaken channel

I myself would be a hypocrite if I said I wont watch the channel again because with every show I'm like "finally a good show" but then two months later its all ruined. When Pratigya started I liked the concept and I liked the lead actress from her previous show...but then they ruined it, same with EHMMBH, that show started out wonderfully but now its just not the charming show I loved and I'm only watching for Karan-Krystle...I think andar andar along with CVs, the channels are involved in the production as well hence every show seems to be degrading in quality, once the channel sees a show progressing they seem to add their own crap to it to get those bloody TRPs.
