SGP is finally coming to an end...and now that I've read everyone's feelings on it, watched SBS video about it, and saw petitions for it...my seemingly stony heart has melted...and I discovered that even though I am glad the show is ending, I am also feeling disheartened and rather sad as well. 😒

SGP has been for the most part a rare gem amongst the rotten ores of Indian television. There really isn't any other show that motivates me to think extensively about it and discuss it with others, even when it's at its lowest points. It is indeed a very thought-provoking show, providing laughter, sadness, a sense of justice, and feelings of love in many forms. All the characters are truly unique, each having their own individual stories that we all can relate to. SGP has also shown an ideal joint family with a mix of the traditional and the modern. 👏

The cast has also been of a high caliber, consisting of people who can actually act and bring their own character alive, making sure to resonate within our hearts. The characters that they brought out were always people we recognize in our daily lives. For example, Dadaji has the appearance of my own grandfather and the demeanor of a grandfatherly figure in my neighborhood. Dadiji is a mother who yearns for her estranged son and her elderly gait reminds me of my own grandmother's way of walking. Rajini and Disha are the everyday women who work hard in their households and outside of it as well. Meethi is the adorable, ziddi little girl that you can meet in just about any household. Etc, Etc. All in all, this cast has fantastic, making me believe in each and every one of them. 😳

As for the leads, they are the ones I have been most harsh on in my comments. 😆 It's not because I hate the actors. But rather it's because they had performed so well and were given powerful scripts from the beginning to a certain point that when the script became degraded and so did their acting at certain parts, I felt very disappointed. 😆
😆
I think Ragini Khanna is a very beautiful woman. 😊 With the right amount of makeup and the right ensemble of clothes, her beauty is even more enhanced than ever that she seriously ends up looking like a doll that a person would want showcased in their home. 😆 Her smile is also one of her best features since it makes things seem brighter and is very contagious. (I just also happen to have an affinity for brightly smiling people too 🤣.) Overall, her acting has been the one of the best amongst all the female leads I've seen in Indian television currently. Her character was also the most unique and worth watching. I am only saddened that CVs didn't give maturity to her character but overall, I had been following her storyline with interest. I guess in ways, her character's immaturity also lend some very exciting/heated discussions on IF so I'm not too remorseful about it. 😉😆 After SGP is over, I truly wish Ragini the best of luck and hope that she can obtain another unique and exciting script wherein she can excel and outshine herself. I also hope that she can continue working on her other dreams (such as singing and dancing) so that one day, it's not criticism pouring out of my mouth but praises for her. 😆 Because, really, I don't hate the person, I just would like to see her do better than anyone else. 😉😆
😆
As for Jay Soni...he really was such an ideal adorable pati dev and stood out quite a lot amongst all the male leads on Indian television for his unique role and portrayal of Ishaan Kashyap. 👏 Same as Ragini, he faced character assassination due to faulty script and sometimes even his own acting was cause of his downfall. But overall, I did enjoy his character a lot and find his personality very nice and easy-going. All the best to him and hopefully he'll have more work ahead of him to hone and display his acting skills. 😊

Last but not least...if you haven't already been bored by me...I want to thank SGP truly from my heart for being what it was because it created a virtual home for me. Due to the nature of the show itself, it attracted the kind of people who I can relate to and share my views with. This became my little niche to have fun and do masti in. I seriously love all of the SGPians on this forum. 🤗Just like the characters of SGP, all of you are very unique, coming from so many different background, with so many exciting stories to share, and so much laughter being passed around. It really hurts to know that since SGP is ending soon, we all might end up dispersing as well. I cherish you guys and all that you have taught me in life. Everyone, whether younger or older, had been a mentor and friend to me. To have met all of you, I feel rather lucky. 😳 Makes me wish that we can all also exist in the same place within reach of each other. Then I can walk by and chatter away and annoy everyone. 🤣

So ya...thanks SGP...for existing...I will truly miss this show. 🤗

I'm feeling so sad right now...😭

Hello frnds,

I have been a silent reader of this forum; now that the show is ending, I had to thank the team of SGP, for such an amazing performance. M a writer by profession, so the portrayal of emotions in the serial really touched me. (All the amazing scenes and each character's justice to those scenes). M sure all would agree, that such ensemble cast would never be repeated on TV again. So, I'd like to say Thank you and All the best to the cast for their future endeavors. And, SGP forum is the most positive forum, Kudos to SGP team and Sgpians. Tc…God Bless…😊

I have so much to say.

First of all a round of applause to the cast of SGP.I might now sound like a broken record stuck on the same lines, but it is has the BEST ENSEMBLE CAST right now for any TV show. The cast with their acting makes you so mesmerized that you feel you're not watching the show on TV but in the Kashyap house itself.Especially Radha Bua and Badi Maa scenes. They are so freaking real.I mean how do they get the right expressions bang on at that time?😲The production house really hit a jackpot when they chose this cast.I love the chemistry of Ragini and Sooraj as Suhana and Alok. They are an epitome of SP's tagline-Rishta Wohi,Soch Nayi.I mean the whole show(atleast the first year) has proved that it is the show only worth to be associated with the Rishta Wohi Soch Nayi tagline.

Where would you get a daughter in law teaching her father in law how to wink on a hindi serial?Where would you see a mother in law like BM sharing her pain with her daughter in law Suhana than giving her pain?Where would you see a family giving respect to someone who isn't even related like Radha Bua and her son?Where would you find a family who would adopt their dfaughter's child and give him abundant love and take care of him even though he is a nikamma?Where would you find such a wealthy person like Kamal Kishore having what not,,paisa, gaadi, bangla but still so down to earth and approachable?

You will find such relationships and characters only in SGP.For today,I want to forget all the flaws the show has and just appreciate the show and the team to no end!

Sudhir Pandey,Anita Kanwal,Bhairavi raichura,Jiten lalwani,Muskan Uppal,Sham malaskar,Pooja Kanwal,Riddhima Tewary,Sadia Siddiqui,Akshay Sethi, the actor who played Sudhir,Neha,Beena Bhatt,Supriya Pilgaonkar,Indraneel,Mahesh thakur,Tapeshwari,Shruti Ultaf,Sooraj thapar,Ragini khanna,Jay Soni,Sulbha Arya,Shailesh Gulbani,Moon Banerjee,Jayati Bhatia and every other on and off actors who have been part of the show-THANK YOU so very much for giving 2 years of happiness.I personally have never liked a show this much(hmm maybe I have but not any recent show)..and become addicted as well.I loved the show for showing the family more than the leads because I miss my whole family back in my hometown and these characters had a reality touch and actually made me remember some amazing moments I've spent with my family.I've told earlier too that I do have a mama like Alok and a mausi like Badi Maa who unconditionally love me and this is why I loved the show because you could actually find such characters all around yourself. The little interactions among the members, the random chats in the drawing room, the fun with dadaji-Dadiji,the sleeping on the mats when the family went to a wedding...everything was so real and appealing. No matter I love the family scenes in the show.

Thank you to the production house for giving your heart and soul into the show and making such a wonderful show come alive onscreen.I think those who have access to Mr.Rakesh Kumar's account have seen pics of the locations they choose, the hard work they put in before eyery shot. The camerawork in the show has been brilliant.Take a bow Mr.Rupesh Kumar.👏I love his cinematography in the show.Starting from the visuals in purani dilli, the tera hone laga hoon sequence, the aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hain song sequence, everything has been really visually appealing.Thank you creatives for giving some of the most beautiful moments in the show. The one with BM-Suhana takes the cake but there have been so many beautiful scenes in the show.

AND I would say how much I like the music of the show. Its soul stirring and adds a complete new dimension to the scenes.especially the sitar tunes are so heart warming, not just that but the background music is a plus point to the show.Hats Off and great job done Mr.Sanat Roy and Mr.Chandan Roy.👏

And last but not the least,THANK YOU SGP FORUM.I've had the most amazing two years of my e-life here in the forum.Got to read a lot of opinions from different people, got to meet such beautiful people with such beautiful thoughts(I sound like manju Aunty...I miss her!).Like Ekta said, the show actually had good scenes on which you could actually discuss and disect the show rather than just drooling over the hotness of the leads.I am not taking names here coz I fear i'll miss someone by mistake but I love interacting with you all in the forum. Some of the best moments in the forum have been working for the newsletter,Band baaja Sushaan,SHATTYSGenda Phool of the week,Bali ka Bakra of the forum and our own BBC .Getting to experience the technical side of the forum and being a part of the development team locking threads, merging them and interacting with shonu baby and kamalduggal(it was real fun😆).I do have ways to interact with most of the people here through facebook and other means but I am going to miss this forum coz the magic of the posts along with the emoticons(esp.🤣)is irreplaceable.😭

I am going to MISS the forum.Never really expected the show to end suddenly and forum and within a month, the forum will get archived..I am really sad today coz my exams will end by April end and i thought I'll have a great time participating in the discussions again.

Thank you once again SGP TEAM AND SGP FORUM for getting to see a beautiful show on a crappy channel and a beautiful gang like the genda gang online.🤗

Whatever I've written might have a lot of errors(i think it has loads of mistakes) but it'll be a torture for me to go through the post again and edit it😆so apologies for any error.
