Suhana's Corner: Interpreting feelings

Hi everyone, sensing someone's feelings is really tough as one has to decipher their body language and emotions while listening to the meaning behind their words. That is what I feel I have been doing since my return to Delhi. Though everyone seems to have accepted Bade papa, there is sadness in the atmosphere at home.

I am very worried for Badi Ma as she never talks about what she really feels and sacrifices her happiness for others. In this situation, when Bade Papa is staying with them, I can imagine she must feel helpless and stuck between her family and Bade Papa. I am feeling guilty for hiding the truth from Ishaan but I will respect Badi Ma's wishes. Rajni didi told me that Bade papa had entered the house forcefully and shocked everyone. Badi Ma believes that he will leave on his own in few days and there is no place for him in anyone's heart - but I don't believe so. If a man can barge into a house so shamelessly, can you shame him into leaving?

Though she asked me not to come, I couldn't help myself and rushed to Delhi. I want to teach him a lesson. My first instinct when I heard that he was in the house was to throw him out. I know my family and I know they wouldn't want him staying with them under one roof- what I am puzzled over is that why they haven't shown him the door. I will do that once I reach the house.

But I was shocked out of my wits to see Bade papa sitting cozily on the dinner table with everyone smiling about. I was rooted to the spot and didn't know what to do. The man sure has guts. I don't know how and why is everyone so cool with him? I asked everyone how could they forgive him after what he did to Badi ma, his kids and his parents? Dadaji said he forgave him for Badi ma while papa and ma too told me they accepted him for Badi ma's happiness. I don't understand.
