How can a father be so heartless towards his own son, inspite of seeing him injured. where is the humanity. if the person who has commited injustice & hurt to you is repentant and realizes his mistake and come backs to you, one has to be forgiven and give him a second chance. After all he is his own flesh & blood. how can a parent being as old as dadaji, matured, behave like this. Being an elder what sort of example he is showing to youngsters. Hate the person who wronged and never forgive him? even if the person realizes his mistake and comes back to you. I am not happy with Dadaji's behaviour. Because of him other members of the family are hesitant towards Ishwer & to show bit kindness and accdeting him into the family.

First of all, I don't believe that Ishwar is really repentant, and the whole family can see it. He is still pretty selfish & self-centered, and all of his actions (and things he says) indicate that he doesn't really believe or understand how wrong he was in what he did. His whole behavior since he entered the house is evidence of this.
He has only come back because he needs his family again and has nowhere else to go, not because he wanted to rectify his mistakes or make up for what he did to them all. If things had not fallen apart in the US, I don't think he would have ever returned at all. Despite abandoning his children at a young age, he expects them to respect him and take him back like nothing happened. I've been skipping a lot of episodes, but I don't think he has ever sincerely apologized to his children for abandoning them. He wants to act like he never really left and just expects the family to welcome him back (unconditionally) and embrace him with open arms just because he is biologically a part of the family.
Somehow I feel he is looking around to find the people who might be sympathetic to him (so he can use them to get back in). He always seems to be taking note of how people react, and I really feel that he's going to use emotional blackmail or something to get everyone to accept him. When people try to explain his mistakes, he just ignores them or brushes it all aside as if it doesn't mean anything to him. I don't trust him at all and don't blame his father for treating him as he does. As Rajni pointed out to him (when he asked what she wanted for her Diwali gift), he really can't be a part of the family because he just doesn't understand or feel the same familial bond that they all do with each other.
I'm sure they will eventually make him sympathetic and the family will put in a position where it has to take him back. But, I really don't like his character at all (even a little bit) up to now and feel that he is getting exactly what he deserves (I wish they would get him out of the house, but I'm sure it's a set up for him eventually staying and becoming a part of the family again).

How beautifully written and I agree word for word, letter for letter. 👏
