🤣OMG, talked to Feefi Faafa. 🤣
We spoke for like 30-40 minutes I think and covered quite a lot of topics...so those of you who say I don't talk on the phone, just ask Feefs how talkative I am LMAO. She is way too easy to understand...seems accentless, probably because both of us talk alike (HOW SIMILAR!!! 🤣)...and we had a grand time laughing and gossiping. It was just awesome!! 😃 I was in the library after I gave her a call and she didn't pick up...then she called back and in whisper tone I told her I'd call her in a moment cause I needed to get out of the library. Then after that I was like, "Heeey Feefi Faafaaa!!!" It was sooo funny, she laughed sooo cutely and she was like, yes it's me.
So I was walking towards a park near my school and talking at the same time, first expressing my relief at being able to understand her really well (in my head I was like, it's so much easier to talk to people in America, lol). She also understood me and said she was surprised that I didn't have much of an accent, lmaooo. Nimika, now I really need to hear what you think about my so-called accent. I also asked her if I talked too fast (cause I talked the same way to her as I did with the other SGPians) and she was like, no, you talk normal...this is normal speed, lol. So big big relief for that. Then we talked a lot of about school (since we both were premeds) and talked about future plans...we discussed my bad driving skills, some stuff about family, and our experiences with talking with other SGPians. Feefs was asking me how to pronounce Shweta's name since they are planning to talk soon and I told her how I pronounced it...then we were laughing over how I call Nikita "Nimika" and then a little about how SGPians have so many weird names for me. I used the catchphrase HOW SIMILAR!!! several times whenever we mentioned something that both of us were alike in...and laughed so hard at that. I teasingly kept calling her Feefi Faafa and also teased her for ditching me yesterday and not even helping with my laundry just so she could talk to her hubby and she was all shy and cute...we talked about her nikah (I congratulated her) and we laughed over how she was still a little bacchi and how could she get married so quickly. We also discussed things like how she can speak Punjabi too so both of us said a few lines to each other in Punjabi.
Overall, we managed to cover a lot of things and had so much fun. Feefs didn't seem like a talker on the phone but she managed to keep up with my bak bak speed, lmao. I was so at ease talking to her...and she has a pretty feminine voice. It's very pleasant. I enjoyed talking to her a lot and the best part was that it was free.
Oh also, an update for everyone else. I just spent some hardcore money on a prepaid card, lol. So I have a new mobile number and you guys can text me on it and call me whenever...for 30 days, LOL. So yeah, it would be great if you guys call me otherwise if you want me to call you, then please give me your landline numbers, not your mobile, lol. Otherwise I'd have to pay extra and I already paid a lotta cash.
