To put it in lay man terms when the emotional content in an episode changes (lets say decreases) the viewership also decreases exponentially and vice versa...

The plot reflects the % change in viewership in response to the emotional content.

For example lets say on
Monday Epi: emotional content = 5 , Viewers = 100
Tuesday Epi emotional content = 1, Viewers = 200
Wednesday Epi , emotional content = 3, Viewers = 50

5 is the highest emotional content and 0 is the lowest.

If u see on wednesday, the number of viewers has reduced to 50 from 200 as on tuesday the emotional content was very low. So any change in emotional content leads to viewership change from the next episode...

Its a proper document in which I explained why TRPs are elastic and what Star should do to maximize the revenue. (Basically make changes to the story based on TRP data)🤣 I kind of went overboard with it.
