Friends, Romans, Countrymen and SGPians

I am back with what I am supposedly thought to be good at...I know that you all know whats gonna follow. This time thanks to Renu ji I am gonna come up with the first quarter(April-May-June) results of SGP. We will analyze the quality of the show in comparison to the previous quarter and also YOY(Year over Year) i.e performance in the same quarter last year. Also for a change we will also look at the performance of the actors. Basically lets see: Kaun kitne Paani mein hai

The first quarter of FY2011 was exceptionally bad for SGP and its viewers. Revenues(Viewers) in 1Q dropped 81.25% sequentially(meaning in comparison to prev quarter) and rose 50% year-over-year to $1.5(No of viewers have reduced compared to previous quarter and increased compared to same quarter in the last financial year) and profitability reached record levels(bottom) and was well below what we anticipated at the beginning of the quarter. Strong revenue decline, combined with high loss levels, has resulted in an outstanding bonus payout factor of -2x for the first quarter. This means that the audiences instead of getting bonus in terms of entertainment from SGP should infact need to give bonus to SGP's cast and crew for their outstanding efforts. That's why I said -2x🤣

The numbers in the above graph are in millions(just an example not the actual figures). Ok now coming to the tough task of explaining the graph, in the above figure as we can we SGP viewership was at an all time high in 4Q (2010-2011) i.e 0.8Million. This is the Jan-Feb-March time frame where we had the Suhana confession scene, Honey Moon Scenes and the infamous Consummation (Mrach 11) scene.🤣...So it was obvious that to maintain the same viewership of that quarter, in the current quarter we needed something as extraordinary as the Jan-Feb-Match quarter but even though there was an opportunity in form of BT and Amnesia tracks the CV's got carried away by the previous quarter performance and all hell let loose. That's why the viwership has reduced to 0.15Million from a high of 0.8million.

The following chart depicts the profitability of SGP over various quarters:

As you can see in the above pie diagram(on Keenu's reco) there is no piece of the pie for 1Q 2011-2012 as SGP incurred heavy losses(viewers/trp's/quality/almost everything) during that period. And obviously profits were sky high in 4Q 2010-2011 i.e Jan-March time frame for reasons mentioned in the first graph section.😆

My students here in the IF have motivated me to come up with more analysis. The result of which is shown below. It depicts how Suhana's character has evolved over the past 16 months or so. Again as we can see in the past 3 months a beautiful character like Suhana's was also tarnished in the name of cheap chipka chipki and introduction of Shashikala. Btw the following plot is called Scatter plot as requested by Ekta Mayee.

Updating the students assignment plots below:

Explanation:- As currently SGP is nothing more than a big blooper itself so i have taken last data as 100😆

B. Keenu:

ok so here comes my graph which is basically about forum only! 😛!

all mere assumptions being silent member before and now bit talkative! 😆!
the total value is concluded as 10 following same procedure as ratings 🤣 from 1-10 i.e. 🤪

and those who don't like bars., here some line graph for you

C. Ekta Maayee(MadameX):

As for my analysis...the weight graph is supposed to show how SGPians lost weight during Sona track while they gained a lot of weight with the mangos...but I guess since I had written that in pencil on the graph, it didn't show up well for some reason. 😕😆 The other graph is inside joke involving Mango Kacheri, BM being bodily thrown around...all of which ensued Mango Mahabharat between humans and mangos. 😆

D. Rubs: GSD/Rubberman/Rubaldhillon

Explanation bhagwaan hee jaane🤣

Reviews & Analysis:

This year started with a cool temp in our forum as it was Suhana confession time and people chilled here with 10degree... Later it went down to -100 during honey moon & consumation sequences which was quite predictable😳.Later it started raising with the rona-dhona track and bcz of some unwanted and forced comedies by Kashyap and at present we are on peak note touching 200degree Celsius . Even though its raining all over in India, we SGPians here are still on fire and expect to continue the same till this track ends🤔.

Future:

As of now its difficult to predict weather forecast, but being an SGPian we all hope for the best. I personally hope BP track , Sanju-Deepak tracks will bring down the present high temp to a moderate level. And I wish all the very best to SGP.

SGP's Track Rating

Tracks Rating(on 10)
Sid-suhana 7
Sushaan's marriage 8
Badi ma-suhana bonding 9
Suhana acepting kashyap's 9
Radha bua-deepak 8
Sona's entry 6
Confession 9
Panna-raunak 5
Honeymoon 10
Brain tumor 7
Amnesia 0.5

I guess no explanation is needed here as i have jst gave ratings to the tracks in SGP...

but i want to tell u the reason why i gave 10 on 10 to the honeymoon track as i loved the bahon ke darmiyan sequence...(though i didnt liked hum tum wala sequence...but bahon ke darmiyan was good and decent compared to that)

H. Netri a.k.a Nets a.k.a Neha Trivedi a.k.a HOTKI:

I have never missed any Assignment in college ...
Here is the Current situation of SGP !!!!!!

I don't think I need to explain the situation !!!!

I. Gauri a.k.a iruaG:
In Economics we studied a concept called Elasticity of Demand. Elasticity of Demand was a measure of the responsiveness to a commodity and measured the percentage change in quantity demanded of a good as a result of a change in its price (other things such as income remaining constant). I have applied that concept to SGP and tried to measure what I call the Elasticity of TRPs🤣. Elasticity of TRPs measures the percentage change in viewership as a result of a change in the emotional content of the story (other things, such as cast and crew, remaining constant). 😆

I think even channels would use something like this because it can help them to maximize revenue.😛

PS:

1. Please refer to Page 10 for the assignment(Home Work ?)🤣.

2. If someone doesn't understand any sentence or any jargon's please feel free to post your queries in this thread. I will be more than happy to reply.😆

3. Results of the assignments is on page 45😆

Make sure you give mangos good ratings/percentages; they put the most effort in the show. 😉😆
