Today raunak was saying to panna that he lost his job as there is recession and the market has fallen quite a lot ...............................but the fact is that at this point in time indian stock market is going to touch previous highs and every thing seems hunky and dory with lots of job opportunities.....................i know this is a remake of OBS and may be this scene was shown in OBS during year 2008 or early 2009 when world market and indian market was in very poor condition ..............but the makers should have been more careful as raunak's reasoning was not convincing at today's time.

Exactly, rich countries are in recession but the developing countries are taking this opportunity to take their economy higher.
In fact there are a lot more job openings in India than in the developed countries

At least they should have shown that there are job openings but he is not ready to take the small ones.

He could be in IT sector and that sector is fully dependent on outsourcing....Outsourcing is at low right now because of recession in developed countries hence affecting IT jobs in India too

Yes, I heard that USA is going to stop all the outsourcing projects
That is where India is going to get a hard hit.

Agreeing with what u r saying renu..... but i guess the SGP guys just want to bring up the issue of recession to show how an artificial living gets a jerk in such circumstances....also used the SGP platform to explore the emotions behind this issue which has never been done before in the serials....( all r more into eyelocks, triangular love etc).No serial have been able to show such tender issues.... so i am glad SGP is trying to put up that .... though the economy now is not like before....

i guess we r relating the show to the current circumstances and hence the dilemma..... else if u see it from just a concept to reveal the situation POV... then i feel u will love it....just my thought....😛

But I thought he was talking about 'job market' not 'stock market' 😕 And as far as I know, those who are working at high salaried positions in MNCs, getting a job or changing one is still quite tough. The isn't that much improved either...

As far as i understand, he is in a middle manager position means not VP or CEO or managers who take care of direct business... and i think it is hard for these level people to get job easily.
