I have always heard this saying that
" LARKI LO TU APNAI SAY NEECHAI AND DO TU APNAY SAY UPER".( Marry you daughter to a calss upper then you and Bring your daughter in law from a class below you)

I have never agreed to it , now we have two SOLID example, Mr. Bajpai got his daughter to marry in Kyshap parivaar who are financially not as strong as his own, he went for the FAMILY,s MORAL VALUES and nothing else.

Panna on the other hand went to a better off family where she may be enjoying the kuxuries if life but is she getting the right treatment????
So SGP,s creative team has done it again, showing us all that PAISA SAB KUCH NAHI HOTA HAI, make sure the family your daughter is going to have morals.

I have seen many girls being always taunted by in laws about the status of there MAIKA, and it makes me sick.

What do you guys think, as I know lot of my SGPians are not married and from young generation, what would you guys prefer with out being emotional and filmi!!!!

great post sheema...il call u sheema di....
ok...i am 20 now...and i prefer moral values more than money...i dont know why..
i feel moral values brings more understanding among individuals and hence alot of misunderstanding can be avoided...
with money..yes comes pleasure...but when money is there...there is definitely going to be shortage of time..when are we going to enjoy the money???after retirement...definitely not...
i know iam confusing with my post..but moral values is definitely my priority...

Shewtha , well said, I agree with you when you said " when are you going to spend the money after retirement!!" money is important to live, but with money comes a lot of worries as well, you go for more and more and more and there is no ending, with good values you can happily live with in your means, and accomodate everything.

Nice point ...and post...........but really marriage is abt 2 people coming together as one as well as their families coming together to be one .....so there is no scope of money as such ...though mostly people seek similar backgrounds in terms of staus n all ...thats fair ...cause what u can offer u can expect to get that as well ...but making money the sole criteria is rubbish ....people matter the most ...money comes and goes .....today u may have nothing and tomorrow u may have loads of it ....but people never change .....so if u have a nice loving life partner supported by a loving family ......U've got more than what money can buy .........
Money cant buy u happiness .......cause its priceless ......................for everything else there is mastercard !!!!😃

sheema i personally think it all depends on the family..my best frnd recently got married to her long time boyfrnd who is much richer thn her..in fact her family had been having major financial issues..bt they treat her wid a lot of love and respect..there is no mention of how her family is not as rich or anything..they even got her a PG seat in the same college as her husband,so tht she dsnt waste a year preparing..(both are doctors now doing their masters)..God forbid tht she has to ever go thru what panna is going thru..its all abt values..and as far as suhana is concerned, its her immaturity tht she gave more importance to her lifestyle and luxuries..soon she will know how priceless love is..look at the irony..kashyap family mein bahu ko apne haathon se nivala khilate hain and at panna's sasural her MIL literally forced her to stop taking the morsel of food into her mouth..more thn money gimme love and freedom of speech and thought anyday..

to me class doesnt matter as long as two people are happily in love wit one another....I say that people should allow their children to choose a life partner for themselves and if any problems occur let them solve it..that's wat i think

rdfan I have VISA so no chance for master ji.
Good response from everybody. Humaness is more important then anything. Look at the love the Kyshap family showers on everybody, and the total opposite is Panna,s in-laws and both are part of our society and I think as a society we should boycott families who are horrible to there daughter in laws and daughters as a matter of fact. We have done it with one of our friends who were really horrible to there parents, and did work.

Yes u are right.. it still happens... if a girl is married of a well off family.. then she will have to go through such cases where they will taunt her in the name of her maykaa...
panna's motherin law and her hubby is too much....
why did raunak marry panna.. if his mother has so may problems.....
atleast she would have married some other person and would have been happy...
