TV actress Ragini Khanna aka Suhana Kashyap of STAR Plus Sasural Genda Phool is happy that audiences have accepted her in the new role. Audiences have given the show a ratings boost after the new role and that has pleased her in particular.
We spoke to Ragini Khanna aka Suhana who says: "I am happy that in the short span of time, the show is getting ever more popular among the audiences. The reason behind the success is the simplicity of the show. We have no over-the-top drama and no loud make-up. I believe that good acting and a good story always does the job."
About the show, she says: "It's the journey of a girl who is often right and often wrong. This is why the character of Suhana connects with the common man, and the reason audiences have accepted me and my character very well."
Now what's next on the show? "Something very interesting, actually," she says, "there will be a dream dance sequence of Ishaan-Suhana and they will be dancing to Zoobi Zoobi.. .from 3 Idiots!"
Suhana says she's happy to get her break in Bollywood. "I will be completing my first film which is produced by Raakyesh Om Prakash Mehra and is called Mad, Madder, Maddest, with Shreyas Talpade."
