So ppl watching OBS keep watching OBS,ppl watching SGP keep watching SGP..and I will continue watching both...coz both of them are close to my heart
Peace😃

Exactly there is no point saying this scene or that scene was better in OBS because people like me who dont understand bengali will not watch it in anyways and i am liking the serial the way it is whether with melodrama or not😊

I had to mention this...cuz no one has done it till now...

I love Indra and Emon in OBS...their acting is superlative...they are absolute stand up comedians...every time they open their mouths, they crack me up...so natural...

And, according to me...Rajdeep Gupta (Ishaan in OBS) is cuter than Jay Soni (Ishaan in SGP)...acting wise...I feel both are the same...

I love watching both the HIndi and Bengali versions :) :) :)...

In the Bengali version...Lolita (Suhana) has been diagnosed with brain tumor...it's not known whether the tumor is benign or malignant...so that's what's happening...Ishaan knows about it...and hasn't told Lolita yet...

You can watch the videos at... www.youtube.com/user/sumism1

(not sure if I am supposed to provide an external link on this forum...but since it is the Bengali version...and not the Hindi one...I think it is fine)

I am glad that they went out of the norm and make it for other viewers, but like you stated (which is a good point) is that it has to cater to the viewers, and one thing that I noticed...production and editing wise....the Hindi one has MANY more dramatic elements...like with all the dhaan dhaan background music and what not....and I feel that though the Indian audience is used to it, the production should not have to comprise their originality and simplicity. I am sure that the people who watch SGP will watch it regardless, and if the melodramatic aspects where to be taken it, I think it would be great, because the show has such a 'real' feel, that when the extra factors are added in, it fails to create that real factor which is so prevalent in OBS.

Even though it is meant for people who have not seen OBS, the casting is something people who have not seen OBS is commenting upon, because when casting clicks it clicks, when it doesn't, it doesn't. Like Inder looks a bit older then Ishaans father, its things like that which make it a bit hard to connect to the cast.

I do watch both, because I like the elements found in each, good and bad......

😊

I haven't watched the Bengali version so can't really comment on it but speaking for SGP.....I'd hardly call it melodramatic by the typical Hindi soap standards....melodrama is K-soaps, typical Ekta Kapoor soaps and the endless other ones on TV which only show ppl suffering and crying 24/7.

SGP isn't melodramatic like that....sometimes it's a bit loud in the goofy aspects I'd say but I find the emotional scenes to be beautifully handled WITHOUT any melodrama....I think they are quite subtly and sweetly handled....this show is a breath of fresh air among typical Hindi soaps....I don't really find it melodramatic.

I agree with u.......The prod house has made SGP very melo dramatic..with the thunder storm sounds, dhadang music and three frame focus...actually the saree scene which happened day bfore yesterday was made with such melodrama.........they made it look like a serious scene.where actually it was supposed to be a funny scene..😭.Plz if the CVs are listening.please no melodrama.pls maintain the simplicity of the story and move ahead😊

Woahhh! WHEN did they show 'thunder storm sounds, dhadang music and THREE FRAME focus' in SGP/??? Have I missed something here?😕😕😆....I don't recall seeing this at all😕😆....which saree scene do you mean?? The one when Suhana gave the sari to Meena and that relative made such a big deal about it?? You found that to be melodramatic?😆.....I think the humor did come through in that scene but they also showed the gravity of the situation a bit by showing how the relative got upset....I didn't find that scene to be melodramatic personally😕😕....If you want to see REAL melodrama, I can point out a hundred other typical daily soaps on air right now😆

it is very sad. pooooooor ishan he is heart broken at what to tell lolitha who is dreaming about a baby. she really wants to be a mother and imagining being pregnant and talking to the baby and all, ishan saw all that and broke down in tears completely. lolitha still doesnt know, how can he tell her he loves her so much and to shatter her dreams like that when she is sooooo happy. 🥺

I know its sad ...but rajdeep was fabulous in the last couple of epi's.........brilliant stuff ....but i am missing the frothy .lively story .....its a little too depressing ....why cant shows be all happy ...when life itself isnt atleast the show can bring a smile on our faces .....but the CV's always beg to differ!!!!
