Meens' is very annoyed. She throws an utensil in frustration. Her MIL comes and enquires. She says the sound is from upstairs. She goes up and sees Muthu(happily) chatting with an irate Saro. Muthu is stunned to see her MIL there. Saro just leaves the place without heeding his mother's call.

Downstairs, Saro is shocked to see Meens awake. Meens doesn't make it an issue and tells him to sleep fondly.

Upstairs, MIL asks Muthu to stop doing such nonsense and says she doesn't think bad about them, but who is to say what will happen to anyone else who sees them. She reminds her that she is Saro's SIL = Mother.

Next morning, Saro is getting ready for "office". He has a new look. (Ada! Marriage ka approm ula scenes a?😛) Muthu is sweeping the floor(Sweeping the floor ok! Apparently an application form for a company that she knows of. He signs it with Muthu smirking and Saro mind voice(I have a feeling he is going to get that job!). She tells him to courier it. That's not all. She calls her MIL, who comes there. She tells him to take her blessings which he does. He gets ready to leave, when Meens stop him again and tells him to take blessings from Muthu. She gestures him not to. He says it's not necessary. She goes on to use word pun, including Vanathai Pola dialogue as identified by Saro's' mind voice. She invokes her MIL's help who agrees with her. And so, he falls on her feet also; who grudgingly tells him to be well(Paya pula marriage ku elaruteiyum blessing vanganumnu nenchurupanatum irukuthu😆). After both Saro and his mother part ways, Meens calls on to Muthu as her elder sister and challenges her that she will never doubt her Saro and is ready for any challenge she is upto.

That night, Saro's father is sarcastically telling to someone on phone about his 2 sons. Saro doesn't heed it and eats peanuts in the hall. A casual banter with Saro and his mother and sister. Just then, SP's friend/colleague(I hope he is there in more scenes. I like this person's acting in another serial.) leaves a drunk SP to his house. He enters the house and everyone seems to understand that he is drunk,
