i didnt follow SM 1...just watched its last few epis...

the first meenaxi is more matured than the second one, that is the difference I feel...but both are good in their portrayals...one big applause for the dubbing artist...she is really good

season 3 ah? i would like to see rachitta again but please no more SM...different story with different plot please...and hopefully her male lead stays with the show till it ends...guess this is why Hindi channels signs exclusive contract with artists so that they dont simply quit...I used to mock them for that, now I can see the problem...

I was also a big fan of Hindi soap Geet hui sabse par aye .. I never miss any episode in it.. Then started watching iss pyar ko Kya nam doon.. Same cliche was seen like eye locks, BD, duppatta pinning , falling in heroes arms , all characters present with full make up n well of f family story.. Hero mass. Fight .. Oh god can't tolerate..

SM1 was my fav next next to KKK then 7c school story..

I love watching them... Then I started watching SM2 from 1000th episode .. Found some old episodes in YouTube .. Really I like this pair VM.. Just thought of sharing with u friends😊

thanks kritikas for the promo...

i too followed BV but not ardently, it had a strong subject...yes hindi serials are cliched when comes to romance especially...I used to follow DABH like mad dissecting every epi those days...today I wish it ends in a good note...the more they drag the more they lose the plot...thats why I think it's good to end SM now...give a proper end so that we can cherish the show, instead of dragging it with leaps and character assasinations...

I so wish too that there is no season 3. no need. new serial..new story fine. both the parts be hit n let the brand name of SM stay like that.

Ditto about the two Meenakshis, the char variations were well brot out. While SM1's Meenakshi had a greater appeal in terms of characterization SM2's girl had oodles of chances to portray a considerable amount of varaitonsin the character. Both did justice

Update Monday 27/6

Meenaxi dreams, she wakes up and started saying that V has opened his eyes and he spoke to her... Thatha, Douglas n family members tried to convince her that it was a dream but she is adamant to see him in ICU... Nurse brought her to ICU but V was unconscious...and Meenu is so stubborn that v will open his eyes and wanted to stay there...nurse got irritated

V's toe started moving...Meenu saw...

Then he opened his eyes and first word he says is meenaxi...M kissed him...V said he will not leave meenaxi and both said I love you...( reminds me of Alaipayuthey ending but here the whole family kootama watching spoiled the confession)

After few days,

V, M and Sudha back to house...(side note: rachitta looks really pretty with open hair) V said his first life (birth) was given by his mom, second life was given by meenaxi because her love brought him back to life...

Epi ended with sudha taking arathi and thodarum...
