Having no Thali is a big issue in that town. Therefore, removing it for SM marriage won't be a problem.

Monday update...

Meenakshi Thinks about the incident where Vettiayan ties Thali o her.

Then she tells him that she values Thanli so much and she would never take it away nnu

She remembers that and cries.

Then hears music. Vettaiyan outside with drum(Illa athu per yenna? The instrument???)

He plays t oall sad songs like mandram vantha thendralukku etc...

he is sad and Meenakshi sad both think about good times.

Morning -tamil calls Vaithi to go t oPanchyathu - vaithi goes in bike.

Vettiayan and Douglas tease Tamil sitting in his car Tamil chase him away

All reach there and waiting for Meenakshi and Soundarya.

Vettaiyan learns of rituals and feels bad that he won't look good in Mottai.

Meenakshi and Soundarya in temple they pray Soundarya asks what she decided nnu meenakshi tells no clue.

She tells some thing stops me from taking the Thali off not sure what nnu - Soundarya asks do you love Vettaiyan?

Thanks for the update Meenu Akka..

The show has to pick up.. It's dragging for very long time. Hope this Thali track gives some idea how the show is going to be in future.

The next words from Meenatchi are very important. The last question was 'unakku Vettaiyanai pidichu irukka?' (Do you like him?) Even if she says Yes, that wouldn't mean she would want to live with him because there is no love. Just before the last question, Meenatchi said, "enakku avanai pikkaathu, intha kalyaanathila enakku ishtam illa, but something is stopping me from removing the Thali." This is similar to the conversation they had in the flashback. In the flashback the reason was her Thali sentiment. What is the current reason????

I am pretty sure that

1. Thali is not coming out. They are not going to go through those rituals.

2. Tamil will get a big blow which he wasn't expecting. This can lead to his full unmasking.

3. She will not agree to live with him. I don't know how she is going to do it. She will remain in that confused state. Thodarum with another plot.

Next plot could be Saravanan entry. This has to happen now or just forget it. Not just for Meenatchi, but the audience are getting fed up too. Right now things are up to the neck. Sudha is numbering her days. Kalaiarassi is waiting. Meenatchi cannot hold onto Thali and reject Vettaiyan too long. She will be further squeezed. Accepting Vettaiyan under the current gun point is also not right.

Somehow, she has to remove the Thali without the rituals. She has to get over the Thali sentiment. Probably, Saravanan will help her do that.
