What a rocking post. We have been brooding over this issue for long and you have finally made a post on this along with a super display of astounding pictures. Swami sri sri saraswathichandraji is seen blessing his 'not so ardent' devotee kumudiya which is a frequent sight in our show and here especially saras intently blessing BD sundari is really amusing. Btw kusum's comment and arshiji's interpretation are mind-blowing. My interpretation is - although saras renounced his spiritual life long ago he still has some traces of it left in him as a settled habit or tendency. Kumud awakens only this emotion in him by constantly maintaining char or do khadam ki dhoori. This act of saras is an implication of the sheer absence of romance in their marital life. Since they are 'soulmates' they practice only self-restraint and chastity in their life. In other words only actions like head-touching, kissing on hair or air, hand-holding or at the maximum a comforting hug that too in extreme situations are permitted between samud. Samud are quite content with this, only we fans feel deprived. Saras at times does this 'aashirwaad' with danny, kabir and other youngsters also. At this rate he may start blessing the elders of the desaai khandaan too. For the fans, w.r.t to this unromantic couple it's all over and done with. Thank you for this good fun.
