Part 22:
Previously:
"Kusum, where is dad?"Kumud asked.
"He has gone for a meeting with that Buddhi Dhan and they will be here directly after the meeting is over."
"I forgot to tell you guys, Pramad said that he will be coming with them too." Anushka added.

Time stood still, everyone threw nervous looks at each other, they were waiting for BD's reply.
"Ok, you can go but make sure that you all are back before the evening." BD stated in a firm tone.
"Make sure of that," VC said.
The gang including Pramad left from there with their heads bowed down and nodding in approval to what VC said. They crossed the main door and went in the lawn. All of them got in their carsin which they ad already packed some bags with important stuffs.
-Some minutes after-
"Finally, we have been able to get out of that house." Danny said as he adjusted his shades and looked at the road in front of him.
"Yes, fortunately dad did not ask us anymore questions," Kumud said while resting her head on Saras's shoulder.
Danny was driving in front and Pramad was behind them in another car. Kusum was in fornt with Danny and Anushka was at the back with Saras and Kumud.
-Flashback-
VC was back home after his meeting and they had managed to convince him to let them go. BD was reluctant but he gave in too. Pramad had convinced his dad to let them go.
-End of flashback-
Kumud was relieved that everything till now had gone according to their plan but she was however worried for one thing. Saras noticed that something was bothering her, he placed his hand on hers, "Kumud is everything alright?"
"Yes," she whispered, she did not want to tell him the source of her worries as she knew that he would oppose her in that matter, of course he would after all but she was compelled to take this step in order to find out the truth.
The journey was long as well as tiring but they had finally reached their destination. The cars pulled in front of a temple and they all got out. Saras stared at Kumud when she got out of the car: he had not seen her properly throughout the day as everything had been in a rush and during the journey, all of them were present. She looked really beautiful in that red salwar suit.
Kumud's attention was only on her phone, she had a frown pasted on her face and she kept on looking at her phone. Saras took some steps so as to close the distance between them.
Kusum, Danny, Anushka and Pramad were already inside the temple;they had to finalize some details.
Kumud shifted her gaze away from her phone and made her way to the stairs leading to the temple but she found herself being lifted from the ground.
Kumud was taken aback; she turned her head to see who was that idiot,"Saras, what is wrong with you? Leave me!"
Saras kept looking at her," Not so easily baby, it's been so long since I've had you to myself."
Kumud's mouth dropped and her cheeks turned into the same color as her outfit, "What? Have you gone crazy?"Kumud struggled to get out of his hold, Saras always surprise her at moments when she would have never expected him. Saras held her tighter and took her to an isolated place in the whereabouts of the temple.
"Saras!" Kumud yelled but he shut her up,"Ssshhh...I'll let you go for one kiss."
"A kiss...?" she asked with a naughty smile playing on her lips."Or if you want..." Saras started with a husky voice."Ok, I'll give you a kiss." She said quickly and gave him a peck on his cheek and quickly got back to her feet while he was frustrated.
He did not waste a single second and quickly pulled her to him and cage her in his arms, "Do you call this a kiss?'
"Hmmm... " she mumbled knowing what his next action would be. She was right; Saras had smacked his lips on hers, she did not bother to stop him. Saras bit her lips and he quickly shoved his tongue inside her mouth as she opened it. They kissed each other till they were breathless and both came out of the kiss. Kumud's eyes were closed, Saras whispered near her earlobe,"Everyone is waiting for us," she gasped as he bit her earlobe and he gave her a kiss on her cheek. Kumud smiled shyly and pushed him away. They went up the stairs and entered inside the temple.
Pramad had met his girlfriend who was already waiting for him. Her back was turned. Pramad started the introductions,"This is my girlfriend, Kalika."
Saras, Kumud, Anushka and Danny were shocked, only Kusum remained unaffected by this as no one had told her about the incident that occurred back at the mansion. Pramad saw their reactions," Why are you all so surprised?" And at the same time she turned to face them.
They sighed out of relief, the name Kalika' had scared the daylights out of them, it was hard to forget what had happened back.
Kusum was the first one to speak,"Hi Kalika,"
"Hi, I'm really glad to meet all of you." The rest of them only waved their hands.
"We should proceed towards the dais otherwise the auspicious time will pass." Pramad said.
Anushka stood near the dais and the rest of them took their place with their respective partners. The priest started chanting. Kumud kept looking at the entrance of the temple restlessly.
But amidst all this, there was a person watching all of this, he quickly dialled a number and said,"Sir, your doubts were right."
