Saraswatichandra likely not to go off air

Mumbai: The fans of Saraswatichandra, which stars Gautam Rode and Jennifer Winget, can now take a sigh of relief as a source close to the production house reveals that the show won't go off-air in the near future.

It was speculated that as there are few new shows in the pipeline, Saraswatichandra may face the axe in June.

Source said that as the show is getting good TRPs, makers apparently have dropped the idea of pulling the plug. And it would not be easy for Winget to do both the shows at one time. 😆

Saraswatichandra is among the top shows on channel Star Plus and hence makers won't let the show shut which is a fans favorite as it would hurt the sentiments of audiences.

Saraswatichandra went on air February 2013 under the production banner of ace Bollywood producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But it was slipped to the hands of Sunjoy and Comall Wadhva's Sphere Origins in August, 2013.

It was also believed that a new show starring Jennifer Winget and her husband Karan Singh Grover is set to replace Saraswatichandra.

We tried to connect with Gautam Rode to get a confirmation over the news piece but he was out of our reach.

What they meant by Andit would not be easy for Winget to do both the shows at one time.
