As for planing, as it is the industry has an unstructured way of working, oopar se the 6 day week is bound to take its toll.

How do leads ever take leave, if there is no bank of episodes and they are shooting almost in real time,

PH is surely poor on planning. They dont bank episodes and its cut-to-cut. It is so hard for actors and us viewers. We saw kumud doing those innumerable scenes in captivity. Instead they could have used to shoot something else.
