And once again the horrors of the past reared their ugly head

Kumud sensed his pain, as she saw his taut body by the poolside

He had his back to her, but she could feel the tears in his eyes

"Saras" she whispered gently, as she softly turned him to face her

"Kumud mein..." His eyes glistening with unshed tears, his voice quavering with pain,

Saras was again pushing her away.

"Shshsh..., " and Kumud softly kissed his forehead

" today I want to remind you of an old promise Saras," she held out the white odhni -

" today I want you to choose me, my love and our life, tum aisa karoge na Saras,

look into my eyes and answer me"

And as Saras looked into her eyes, and saw his pain mirrored in hers,

his pain ebbed, and he realized

That what had happened was not what mattered.

She, this moment and their love - that was his life

To see her eyes light up joy was the only thing he cared about

And he smiled and drew her into his arms.

The embrace was gentle, and Saras drew comfort from her soft body against his

Slowly, kab ,kaise, pata nahi, but his arms tightened around her,

and her arms were around him,

her hands gently drawing his face towards hers.

Saras saw her looking at him, her lips half open, very very close to his,

and shyly, sweetly, softly but firmly, he heard her say,

"I love you Saras, and I want to spend my life with you".

and gently her lips brushed his cheek, just at the corner of his lips.

The feel of her lips, her gentle fragrance, her soft body touching his,

and Saras felt as if he was on fire.

Then the whole world disappeared, time stood still, even the moon,

not wanting to disturb the young lovers, drew a curtain of clouds.

Kumud felt a new kind of tension in him, which was inviting yet frightening and she blushed,

embarrassed at how her body was responding to him.

She buried her face in his shoulder and he carried her into his arms towards her room,

which was now theirs.

Badi maa, who was going towards the kitchen, saw them, and quickly retreated into her room,

not wanting to intrude into this intimate moment.

As Saras carried her to the bridal bed, their hearts beat with anticipation,

and they paused at each candle in the room and Kumud gently blew it out.

The room was now dimly lit, a single candle casting a beautiful glow,

and Saras lay his beautiful bride on the bed.

And kissed her, on the forehead, on her cheeks slowly and torturously delaying the moment

they were both longing for, and all the time Kumud waited for the moment

when his lips would touch her lips, and seal their love.

Just as his lips were about to touch hers,

the lone candle also decided to leave them alone, and the room was pitch dark...

At that precise moment, the odhni which lay forgotten at the poolside,

was blown away by a hawa ka jhonka, and landed on the thal of rangoli colors near the mandir,

And was soon covered in red the color of suhaag and marital bliss, orange,

the color of haldi depicting divine blessing, and green the color of fertility!

Kumud is sitting on the bed and there is a mirror across her. Saras enters and is very nervous and excited at the same time. As he comes towards her she sees him in the mirror.

Kumud still takes her time. Saras sits by her and starts seeing her mehendi to find his name. But this time he takes her hands into his and starts. Finally he finds them and shows her. She is too happy to say anything.

So here goes my wish-list which i would like to see on Samud's special day-

1. SR happens after some hurdles/drama to make it intense n emotional.

Yes intense n passionate SR it should be. Both emotional n senti reliving their past moments their ups n downs would defo make it even more special😛

2. Saras Kumud hug each other tight n for the longest time to actually believe of each other's presence.


Agree the longest air tight hug to banta hain!! 😃

3. Kumud whispering to Saras's ear her love for him

This is something that all SaMudians have been waiting for. Kumud whispering in Saras' red ears - I love you n u r my dream coming true today with Saras' ears on fire😳

4. Saras kissing Kumud's teary red nose:p

Awww!!

5. Both of them looking at the moon through their window while being in each others arms

Hayee!! N Saras telling his Kumud how she is glowing more than the real moon n Kumud replying it is only because she is in her Saraswatichandra's arms, the light of of her life.

6. Saras gifting kumud a kamarband with moti in it n making her wear that.

Perfect!! ⭐️


7. Saras lying on Kumud's lap, she stroking his face n they having one intense talk.

Yeh hasseeen hasta kab hoga???

Baki k naughty things they can start after that:p...
