Want to see them happy but don't...

I will admit, being a sadist I'm not entirely excited about the marriage, simply because their love story is meant to be about seperation and yearning. For me, that is Saras and Kumud. Happiness is always short-lived for them. So don't kill me for saying this but I hope they do have problems after marriage. Not the typical hubby-wife ones, but the 'Saras and Kumud' issues.

Having said that...seeing them together so happy as they were today made my dil garden garden. They look so genuinely happy. They've been given their life back. Kumud is back to being her old spirited self who wishes to run like the wind. What a beautifully shot chase scene that was *sigh* They looked like kids one moment and then like a beautiful dreamy couple in their own world with 'Mann ki Dor' playing in the background. Such a fun episode with the family too! In terms of light hearted episodes, I think the current writer is churning out the best humour the show has seen.

I want to see them happy yet I don't. It's so confusing :(

Reemz they deserve this happiness after all that they have been thru. They have truly had their share of dard, yearning, seperation. I don't want this story to be of Romeo and Juliet. I want to see them grow old together and die when they are 100 plus hand in hand in each other's arms...smiling and thinking of the beautiful journey they had together.

I know this is too much to ask from a TV serial! They shud have problems but it shud be one which brings them even closer.

Frankly I am all up for an amnesia track! Saras not being able to remember who Kumud is! But remembers his life before her! N how kumud cares for him, looks after him and takes him thru their journey again...this to me still fufills the 'milkey bhi sang hai judaa'

They are humans and not stereotypes. there has to be all elements in their journey. They are defined not just by pain n yearning but by their personalities. Their strong n intense personalities.

I'm only speaking for myself, I've never wanted or asked for their marriage. I've been quite clear what I want to see in regards to their love story. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against their marriage at all. It'll be another beautiful phase in their life but I prefer the yearning aspect. I still remember the original promos which said 'kahaani tadap ki'. That's how I see Saras and Kumud, always have and I definitely don't want to see them as a typical married couple who become boring.

I agree which is why I said I'm confused about what I want to see but I can't deny that in my heart I do associate these two with yearning. The togetherness despite not being together...I like that!

LOL Shana!! Will hop over on to your thread in a while :)

I can understand because I want that too. I want them happy and excited, but yes there should be problems after marriage and there should be the kind of fighting and passion that brought them together in the first place. =) Love isn't always a bed of roses as the saying goes, and they should discover that post-marriage. It would be kind of an irony since they had to wait so long to get married.

Well ... I personally dislike marriage in all shows.
CVs got no creativity when it comes to marriages. It becomes all about Saas/Bahu.

I do not understand one thing. People wanted to see em married for what? So we can have some fun and romance? We could have without it too.

Like mentioned in an other post, the tag line of the show is Mukamal Mohabbat Ki Adhoori Dastan --- What will they do now? Change the tagline? How? What's the point of the show when their Mohabbat becomes Mukamal!

It's all SP's fault. I'm sure SLB could have done a better job. SP always end up ruining their shows cause of TRPs. They are forgetting this a love story, not a saas/bahu saga!

I'm just busy hoping CVs end up being sensible! Want a good track after marriage. Lovey-Dovey's good for a month. Afterwards, it gets boring. The excitement disappears.
