I'm at a loss why they have so many filler episodes... As if the writers are at sea.. Or gone on a round-the-world voyage... Leaving behind somebody with half their mind in RN ka mishtan bhandar

All the same, I'm so glad they announced a date for the wedding...😃 Am now convinced they'll get married and maybe be together for "pal do pal" before disaster strikes😊

Happy...ur last line 😭 yaar am dreading this...it's sooo seeing these two happy that to think that something bad can happen again...the thought pierces thru my heart. No idea what cvs have in mind.

I think the character of Saras has been intact barring KS...did you see how he was doing "damage control" when his love bird was making her premature victory march all over the house "disrupting" peace?😆 And the way he concernedly questioned her crying as though she's a child😳

Anyhoo, this time next week the twain would have wedded (hopefully without any drama)..OMG I can't contain my excitement, 'cause I just watched the promo!

Agree. Saras is saras.

Me too very excited for the wedding. Kumud ke Maang mein saras ka sindoor. Aur saras ke Paas kumud ki khushboo. Means a lot. This marriage changes their essence altogether. What a pair.

I am only worried for their milan ki raat as saras might be disturbed seeing LN n guman. They are coming right after wedding on Feb 1st. We have written so many poems for that night. Hope it happens like the way we thought.

Did the promo inspire you to come up with the fairytale type CB because they totally look like Prince and Princess in the promo? =)

I would have loved it if they'd dedicated the whole of Thursday's episode for the engagement and today's for the pearl war😆 Anyway, hope we get some intense romance when they go on a date on Monday😳

A prince and a princess and their fairy tale wedding. I loved her chaniya, such a pretty color!

You are right, DocWho. He's always the grown up in their relationship!

And Kumud revels in being the brat with Saras, while for everyone else in the family she herself has the grownup persona.

Santhi, I find it adorable the way all of us are so bothered about Saras and Kumud as if they were real people! Hats off to the leads and to all SC team for making us feel that way..👏

As Saras and Kumud enter holy martimony, felt like revisiting the symbolism and rituals behind this beautiful institution.

There are many mantras chanted during marriage. Many beautiful rituals.

Saptapadi - When they take the seventh step they become the best of friends. (Sakha saptapadi bhava)

Mangalasutra - the shloka 'mangalyam tantunanena ...' is chanted. It means, 'I am tying this auspicious thread around your neck for my life. May you live hundred years with me(sharadam shatam meaning hundred autumns).

Husband takes up the responsibilty of the wife and becomes 'Bhartaa'(provider and one who holds the responsibility) and wife becomes 'Bharya' one who is to be taken as a responsibility. He is supposed to be with her and in dharma, artha, kama and moksha.

When we think about Kumud and Saras - we can feel that these two stand for the spirit of these mantras totally.

Yeah, that's so true, happy, I hadn't really noted that, but now that you mention it, she is a brat with him, both in the nicest and the worst way.

During pramaad days, even before that infact, but the whole shradh thing, asking him to marry kusum in recent time, madam just decides for the two of them, but thankfully, he is the one who decides when to give in and when to say no!

And shadi ke baad bhi she will rush into messy situations and it will be his lot to do damage control.

The good thing about them is that it is a relationship of equals, they both have made their share of mistakes, yet the other one has stood beside and provided support, willingly or unwillingly, but not judgemental, not holding their relationship at ransom.

Love is unconditional and complete, yet not suffocating. The love of two strong, independent people who are not incomplete in themselves, yet complete each other.

As long as this essence remains, we are good.
