What a delight you are ! How delightful your writing ! And what a wonderful super episode we got yesterday !

I havent stopped smiling since, and your post made me happier than I was after watching the episode !

Eagerly waiting for the wedding ! I am sure there will be loads of drama before and more so after !

There are many mantras chanted during marriage. Many beautiful rituals.

Saptapadi - When they take the seventh step they become the best of friends. (Sakha saptapadi bhava)

Mangalasutra - the shloka 'mangalyam tantunanena ...' is chanted. It means, 'I am tying this auspicious thread around your neck for my life. May you live hundred years with me(sharadam shatam meaning hundred autumns).

Husband takes up the responsibilty of the wife and becomes 'Bhartaa'(provider and one who holds the responsibility) and wife becomes 'Bharya' one who is to be taken as a responsibility. He is supposed to be with her and in dharma, artha, kama and moksha.

When we think about Kumud and Saras - we can feel that these two stand for the spirit of these mantras totally.

Once in a while it becomes necessary to show the viewers something more than just a show about leads and villains or love and drama only. The episode was beautiful in this respect giving us a blend of romance fun family cute fights lovely jen and handsome GR. I am enjoying these days more so to see relaxed saras and kumud not worrying every moment about some danger lurking around the corner. I missed Danny once again.

Next week will be a blast with pre-wedding rituals and will end with a reunion of our lovely couple Samud forever. I am happy.
