Oh well, it was an excuse to bring Guman back but could they have used another reason like Guman missing her son and visits him to discover he married Kusum?
Anyway, I used to say back in the day that VC is very large hearted to be able to forgive and look beyond LN dumping DB at the altar and still maintain his friendship with LN despite the hardships they all had to face. But now I would say the change in PH caused all characters to loose their brains, morals and ethics and memories too. So anything goes...
