@ Santhi,
Indeed so, too much reliance on leads, but there the CVs do have a challenge,
most times viewers are not interested in anything except the leads
and parallel tracks are simply ignored.
But well they are creative team,
so if they do come up with compelling parallel tracks,
I am sure we will enjoy it, clearly keep the leads in focus is easy ticket.
@ annete,
While there is pyaar ke anek rang,
the fact is that the aim is to keep Samud apart, and not to explore
different types of love, aisa hota toh kitna achcha hota
As it is by turning kusum also obsessive, violent,
it just seems like a repeat of pramaad days,
same needless obsession to hold on through negative blackmail
actually kusum and meera prem, had it been handled like meera prem,
would have been another type of love entirely
Infact kalika is shown as this person who has no emotions at all,
barbaad Kumud is all she lives by,
which is so unnatural.
Otherwise pramaad kalika love - the parasitic kind would also have been interesting to explore,
Danny kusum - the selfless love where he loves enough for both of them,
and enters into wedlock knowingly that she loves his brother,
would have been another dhansu emotion to explore,
Had he married kusum knowing the truth
But all this requires time , attention to detail,
intelligent thinking and advance planning of tracks.
Situations have to be allowed to evolve from actions and thoughts of characters themselves,
not enforced by the villains and vamps.
Now if you look at how story moves
Chalo, ab Danny kusum ki shadi karwa do,
Kaise,
Kalika will do something
Chalo ab kusum ko Kumud ke against kar do
Kaise
Kalika will say something
Chalo ab Saras aur Kumud ki ladai karwa do
Kaise
Pramaad hai na
Chalo abhi log bore ho gaye kalika aur pramaad se
Guman hai na
Agle 6 mahine, usko karne do
Phir pramaad ko bula lenge
