Well, I think in RN there is a gujju karvachauth which comes in the month of June, unlike the Panju KC that comes in oct/ nov 😆

And not only do the brides wear chuda, but the dulhas also wear sehra that is more panju than any panju, full face covering wala.

Chuda aur sehra pe kya question Nandy. Jab poori shaadi hi questionable thi. 😡

Yesterday's episode was a filler for me. Except that Pramad made some progress. His stretching nostrils wala goody-goody act was not to my liking at all. Was tired of him poking his nose everywhere in that haveli where only fools live.

Now my thoughts go to Danny. Is he really dumb to understand the writing on the wall. Everyone clearly told him Kusum doesnt like him. Then he said to saras even if she doesnt my love is enough. And even after she attempted suicide his brain didnt work. She had to spell it out in uppercase for him to understand. Now he says, Kumud's mind was filled with Saras when she married. But his mind was intact right? Danny baba - didnt you see your Saras bhaiyya hugging Kumud ji? With their love in mind, cant you even understand a little why Saras did this?

Saras has begged her enough. And kumud looked listless in that mandir scene. Her dialogues were vague. She is wearing that huge mask now in front of Saras though she walked away from Kusum when she was talking about imagining it was Saras during the wedding. And the mask wont come off easily.

But next week should be better. Love is definitely on the back-burner. Its all about who is right and who is wrong. Even next week.

I thing its wrong to say that for Kumud family comes first and for Saras kumud comes first. Saras is much more compassionate than Kumud. For him, her family comes first too. See how he repeatedly says that he took this decision for Kusum. he thinks for everyone around him. Marriage should not be totally cancelled because VC and guniyal will be heart-broken. He cannot be the groom because he cant make Kusum happy and Danny sad. And kumud will be life-less. He thought about everyone involved.

Kusum might still be redeemed. Counsellor jo aa raha hai. There is hope. But the other Desais? The way you wrote about their reaction sums up what i/we have been saying. The way they reacted, there is no hope. These days they are used as puppets. So I don't think their gandi soch will be questioned. Saras might question kumud. Wahi bahut badi baat hai. Dugbaa is silent. I think because of this kusum's suicide drama. The whole thing is so messy. Biggest surprise would be dugbaa questioning guniyal n vc.

What is the CVs position on kusum's love for Saras ?

Let me explain by drawing a parallel to pramaad and Kumud's marriage time

Pramaad was evil, but his mother loved him blindly, while we bashed saubhagya Devi plenty, it was for being blind to pramaad's faults, but her love was never questioned

It was understandable and acceptable that a mother would just not see her sons faults, and would still demand her daughter in law also worship the ground her useless son walks on , it happens.

But , in case of kusum, the whole love itself is so questionable, IMO

That kusum feel that way about Saras itself is wrong, that her family actually accept it as true love, and not as an obsession that is unhealthy and damaging, is what feels so wrong

The cvs position in this is confusing, are they trying to show that this love is ok, and kusums feelings for Saras are actually normal and real?

Because the whole scene of her removing jewelry, all the focus on her crying, suicide - somewhere I feel cvs are trying to show kusum in a sympathetic light and not as a crazy obsessed girl.

Throughout this track, what is the writers stand on kusum - are they projecting kusum's "love" as something natural and normal , just a bit overboard , or do they too, like us believe that her feelings themselves are questionable and can't be termed as love ?

Because I don't see any character questioning that, they all seem to accept her love as right, and seem to pity her plight.

Arshi ji, they have already addressed that Kusum's love is in fact infatuation through Kumud's and Gunial's reactions on the day before the wedding. Kumud's reaction from "How obscene" to "He can never have feelings for you" to "He'll marry you because he's a good man and he cares about me" in a matter of few hours boggles my brain. Momma Desai didn't care a hoot after knowing about Kusum's attempted suicide for the first time. Now the entire family is too enthusiastic in pummeling Saras with all kinds of names, betrayer of trust yada yada yada to no end.

Kumud is the worst written character at the moment...her caprice, the readiness to get back to Prammy, bringing again and again the fateful night whenever she wants to dethrone Saras to win an argument, sheeh, when did she get so bellicose?! Her words for Saras are downright harsh and vitriolic and so uncalled for. It is understandable that Saras's treachery has affected Kumud but what I can not understand is how is she still not aware of Saras's idiosyncrasies, that he'd never pay heed to her silliest pleas like ever. Is it the level of understanding she has for a soulmate? 🤢🤢🤢
