This not the only way to make the story go forward. I can't believe she's letting the CVs butcher her character like that. Usually actors do get a say in how they think the character should shape up! The final call will be of the production crew but their opinion does count.

and we all are pointing fingers at the character, nothing personal against Shiny. She is doing her job..we are aware of that.

Thing is its a shame that she thinks Kusum's love is justified but I guess she has to stay loyal to her character else she wouldn't be able to play it convincingly and she should actually take it as a compliment! means she is doing her job well!
