Not too many days back, it was reported by Star News that there was a major break-in on the sets of Saraswatichandra. The Star Plus series has been enjoying extremely high ratings in the current weeks with people wondering how much longer TRP's like this will last. After discovering the disappearance of several pairs of jeans from the wardrobe for Varun Kapoor, security guards were questioned about the clothing thoroughly and then police took the tapes of the closed-circuit camera system. It turned out that a slim young man posing as a dry cleaners employee had come to pick up the soiled clothing from the costume department and was sent to the trailer to recover the items. Since he had already gotten past the security desk, noone suspected anything when he walked off with several pairs of the jeans.

SC producers have decided to offer a huge reward for the items, which were especially made for Mr. Kapoor by a privately owned company overseas. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the man or the clothing is urged to call the studio.

Looks like things are heating up for the show! With any luck, they will track down the missing items. Or we will get to see Varun in shorts. 😆😆
