I too think he might die before the divorce, but that should happen without the rona dhona of i am unlucky for you, we are not meant to be etc etc.

He dies, tells them to be together happy, their conscience is clear and they wait out the mourning period.

Too much to expect knowing our CVs but this is my sapna

Arshi ...

@ Bold above ... What are you saying ?? ... How can there be any sympathy for that Evil ... Murderer ... Torturer ... Monster ...?? 😕

How can his gettting this disease neutralise all the evils he has committed on both Kumud and Saras... not to forget his trying to Burn Kumud in Fire ... and almost murder by Shooting of Saras ...

It is only JUSTICE that he is dying this PAINFUL Death ... lonely and abandoned by all ... in fact in my view even this is too easy a way out for someone as Disgusting as him ... He should be rotting in Prison all his life for all the evils he has committed ... on Kumud ... Saras ... his own sister ...and his parents ...

There is absolutely no question of any sympathy for that Evil Man ...

@ Bold Blue above ... Why should that Terrible Monster tell them to be happy ... Why should SAMUD need to be told anything from that Evil man ?? ...Now we should not even think of inserting someone as Monstrously Bad as that PPP in the picture of something as Good and Noble as the True and Pure Love of SAMUD ... ... I feel even taking his name with them defiles their Purity and Goodness ...

and what about their Conscience being clear ... i did not get that ...

why they should have anything to do with Pramad on their Conscience ... SAMUD have been a million times more good to him than that Evil Weakling ever deserved ...

Both of them had given their all ... almost given their lives ...to uphold the social bond of that sham marriage ... so where is the question of them not having a clear Conscience ?? 😕

The marriage to PPP was a terrible Nightmare which is thankfully now over ...THE CHAPTER OF PRAMAD in their life is now over ... SAMUD owe nothing to him ... In fact now they have nothing to do with him ... It is high time that Evil Monster is buried for ever ...

haan pramaads piece de resistance...kumuds hand in saras' will definitely be a master stroke...👍🏼

Actually I don't even mind Kumud being 'proactively' compassionate by offering him a new life through the liver donation. But sadly proactive thinking means no TRP drama. Refer to the mindless attempt at reforming an alcoholic just through 'sweet talking' instead of taking him to a frkiin' rehab center.

Pramad has not changed. If he can now develop a sweet corner for Kumud, why not for Saras as well? He despite being a former lover also tried as hard as he could in reforming him. This sudden change of heart is just an act of a desperate man clinging onto the one good thing he could have had realized through retrospection. It's just too late and he's lost his chance to atone for his past. And being ill doesn't give a licence to pity that sonnavab*h.
And Annete ji! I still have 6 and half years to be called as a 'doc'😆 I'd be in my late 20's and have accumulated close to a million dollars in student debt

I am fed up of seeing Kallika pop up every where.
In Ratnagiri, Saras and Kumud were still trying to have a conversation about their relationship whilst Kallika managed to get to Mumbai or wherever Yash was, track him down , 'fall in love' with him and get married to him.
This woman has amazing super powers!
She can also pop up at will during important conversations - lurking behind doors, windows and curtains- during Kumud -Dugba, Saras- Kumud, Danny- Kusum and other family conversations.
She certainly is a villain with super powers.
I am still waiting to see her super power act of disappearing from the serial for good!

Twila,

Great post from you, and personally I agree with you on the fact that Kumud and Saras owe him nothing and should not allow it to effect their relationship.

But the reason why I feel what I do:

1. A dying man, losing all his dignity, his family, dying a slow painful death - in death at least I feel bad for him, more because he refuses to whine and beg for mercy, he has his akkad intact.

2. Kumud's high sense of social responsibility might have her feeling that she needs to take care of him in death, and again force saras to move on and let her be with her husband

3. Then the social expectation from a widow, the safed saree, the mourning period, taunting kakis and aunties, might make these two move away and keep their relationship under wraps.

4. our self sacrificing Saras who will do anything for his Kumud

all these make me feel that the simplest way out of this sticky mess is for the man to die and publicly tell these 2 to live happily together.

That will give them the social sanction so important to Kumud and Saras and they can marry with clear conscience of this not effecting their family in any way.

because I think these constant taunts of khoti kaki are going to play on kumuds mind soon

1.Arshiji, when did he ever have the dignity to lose it? He's begging for mercy, he is citing his illness as an excuse for the accident. He's manipulating Saras. He's evil.

2. Again, there's nothing Kumud can do which a nurse can't do, or his mother can't do. If at all she wants to help him, she may do so by being a liver donor and return to Saras promptly. Because it is unacceptable for her to get back to Pramad when she's in love with Saras.

3. As long as they are together without any MUs and the defeatists in love attitude, I'm fine with the mourning period. But I'm sensing a storm in the form of Kalika/Kusum and the promise made by Saras to Kalika.

The man may die but Kumud is not headstrong, she doesn't give a hoot about these social obligations and taunts to cower in a dark room and brood anymore. This is the period in which their love for each other must reign supreme and wither the likes of society and Pramad.

Sorry to poke my nose! Have a good day.

Arshiji, i too think he has changed genuinely. but I feel this change is more in his feeling towards Kumud.

I do not think he has changed much as a person. He has understood Kumud's value and feels sorry to loose her now. But I don't think he has reached to a stage of clear conscience where he will ask and bless SaMud union as his dying wish.
