He definitely has different feelings for kumud now. That too because of his suffering alone. Not because he has changed. Its need-based. Suddenly, he says meri kumud and 'pati'. Pati word ka mat lab hai lord. There is another word 'bhartaa' that is used in south Indian languages for husband. It strictly translates to husband. And means one who nourishes and 'jo bharan karta hai' - one who carries wife n her responsibilities.

Santhi, love is a complex emotion , one . It's very difficult to define love or cast it into right or wrong.

Two, it's love because the people concerned believe its love.

So whether kusum loves Saras really or not, or pramaad really loves Kumud or not, is not of import here.

These two believe its love and that's what is guiding their actions.

Pramaad did not go there to cause ruckus, he went there to meet Kumud, so he did not go on kalikas invite, he walked into her trap.

And if you see, this was not the old pramaad, who insulted Kumud, this was a contrite pramaad.

He is in love I agree. But I am trying to say it has no connection to change or reform or being good. Evil can also fall in love. Love is a complex emotion like you said.

I am trying to look at pramad as a person or a human being. I think saras is a good person not because he loves kumud. Because of some qualities like care n compassion etc.

Again all I am trying to say is that, pramad falling in love doesn't make him good person. And falling in love is not a yardstick.

So true, being in love and being good are not correlated. His roughing up the villagers today proves both - that he loves Kumud and he is still the goonda he always was.

My pity for him is also because of his pitiable attempts to hold on to his pride. All he has is a facade. Deep down now he knows he's finished, but he continues to pretend to be the same old pramaad.
