Am I the only one enjoying the show?

It must be just me seeing the amount of negative topics in the forum. Am I the only one seeing Kumud's dependence in Saras growing and growing?! Even in tomorrow's precap, Kumud is full of confidence and I have no doubt Saras is the reason behind it. He will give her confidence to give it back to Kalika/Pramad. She isn't doing it by herself, Saras is there with her all the time. You can see it when both look at each other for assurance. That silent understanding and care. This is what I had expected from the show when I started to watch it.

Why is a girl like Kumud tolerating all this nonsense? That I admit I cannot logically explain except for the fact that some things you have to take as creative liberty. My classic example is the typical fall & trip moment between an on-screen couple. Do they happen in real life? Um no. But you just watch it and let it go because you know this is a daily soap which has its illogical moments. Dupattas don't fly, pushing against the wall violently isn't actually 'sexy' as its shown to be in our good ol' desi dramas.

Is the show giving out the wrong message? Well no. Because no matter how inspirational or disturbing a movie can be, it's not going to turn around someone's life. I am not going to watch Kumud and think 'I will tolerate this kind of physical and mental abuse from my husband' because Kumud is. Are we that dumb? Give yourselves a bit more credit. Unfortunately there are women who have to go through such domestic violence and they have their own reasons to keep quiet (yes including educated women). I don't know why people equate uneducated people to domestic violence. You get these kind of incidents between highly educated households too.

Regardless, it is FICTION. It will not always make you happy. You will not always agree with it but its not meant to influence you or change your life around.

I don't really understand why in between all of this, people refuse to see the ever-growing love between the main leads. Kumud has never been dependant on anyone, she is now. Dependant on Saraswatichandra - that's what the show is called right?

Im still watching despite it

well reemz ...i have a question where is all this leading to...will we have it like this forever...like saras being a kunwara pati to kumud...and doing vrat and bodyguard giri

while kumud will be always busy changing pramad and taking all crap from saasu maa

i do feel kumud a bit awaking after that horrible night.And one thing is quit sure Kumud is no abla when it comes to safe guarding herself...she gives to one she wants ()once she did give in to saras :)) and not let anybody snatch it from her.(pramad :( )...a real woman indeed

but i am clueless where is it all leading to...my worst nightmare will be to see their love relationship turn platonic.

i know now many will blame to adultery...lol...but i dont care...all i want to see this love story get a rightful completion ...a completion it deserves after so much of penance from saras and pain and suppression from Kumud.

I am liking it, too! I don't know why people keep complaining about things.

Do we ever know where any show is heading Shana? Do we really want to know? Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride. Kumud of this show is actually much stronger than the novel one. Why is the show a disrespect to the novels Kumud as some are claiming when she never actually stood up for herself? The show's Kumud at least speaks up.

I know eventually Saras-Kumud will be accused of adultery and I am actually awaiting that scene because it will be AMAZING! An amazing portrayal of our unconditional love. Why should I want to rush that when I am actually witnessing a really beautiful and soulful journey of love.

When she was angry with him, most people said she is being harsh on him and doesn't want to listen to the whole truth and that she needs to cut the poor guy some slack.

Now when they are working together for her better future, people say they are lying, cheating... and adultery accusation is just sick!😡

I think.. In fact I know that this is the beginning of their reunion! I am excited about the current track.😊

Ahh found someone :D Honestly I didn't know what else others expected especially when the synopsis clearly says that Saras will be the man in Kumud's life who will support her unconditionally through her marriage. Have the writers swayed away from that? Why blame them? They are STILL following the essence of the basic storyline. If Pramad hadn't treated Kumud the way he did in Mondays episode, we wouldn't have witnessed one of the most beautiful portrays of love as we did between Saras and Kumud. I'm sure even tomorrow we will see a heartbreakingly beautiful scene between them :)

You are not the only one Reema.. count me in.. I have stopped posting in the forum because of the negativity. I am not sure what people were expecting to see..

1. why is Kumud putting up with all the crap from SD and Pramad ?

- because its part of the narrative.. the righteousness, self respect and high morals that she takes pride in is going to be questioned and she will be ripped, literally when the truth about her past with Saras comes out.. how can we have all that drama if you expect her to walk out of the marriage right now? and it's not like she takes everything quietly.. she told her mother in law that she doesn't want to observe the fast for her husband.. That was the bold upfront Kumud we love.. she even told Budhidhan that she kept the fast only coz she didn't want to hurt her MIL's sentiments.. quite straightforward I'd say!

2. About Saras , I think Reema has said everything I wanted to.. I am glad he is clear in his head that all promises he made to whoever are secondary.. what is of prime importance is Kumud- her safety, her happiness.. but if she wants to give it a last try, he will support her.. failing to do so, he will be there right behind her.. exactly what I had expected of him.. their eye contacts and the assurances they give to each other..love it ..yes you are right, she feels confident in his presence these days ..she knows he will be there for her.. unlike earlier times when she used to get nervous and edgy as if its crime to look at him..

so there Reema, I am watching the show too.. and liking it too.. yes I feel bad for Kumud and Saras but I knew what I was getting into..
