Hai, I just thought to stop it because we can't criticize one show in another. Because I hate the show saathiya as much as I love ipk.

Saathiya is the other end of the spectrum for me, and we might get a warning or something for bashing that show.

That's why I said some neutral place where mods allow comparison between shows.

You know I love debates, I am the quintessential argumentative Indian.

Never for naught when we walk out with deep attachments, genuine respect and awe... An undeniable sense of regard. Saraswatichandra has been tarnished but CB shines on with unblemished brilliance.

*Standing-frickin-ovation* to all the CBians and to you, our resilient troop leader 👏 👏 👏 👏 and a salute of pure pride and honor.

Arshi, Hgg bhai, smrth bhai, happychappy, Nandy, kaadal, twila, Vaishali, Veera, Santhi, Kat, Shana, Anki, Reemz, Mrieshka, trupishree, Adiani (this list I know is by no means exhaustive) Just everyone who have made CB what it is today, who consider CB home, haven and 'public sphere'... It's been a sheer pleasure. An unreplicable experience. The magic, can never be recreated. And nor should it. Also, it goes without saying that the CB experience has been, strictly speaking, unforgettable.

@arshi thank god u r not leaving permanently ...i can understnad its really hard to write unbaised on a damn baised show which SC has now become ...but be here we need ur criticism...bashing does not suit u ...as i find u flexible enough to take other people thought in consideration ...a basher is somebody too stubborn ...so never call urself basher when u criticise...coz u r not 😃

Chalo, time for Thank you's and Good bye's.

There was a promise of a different show, A Non Saas Bahu one,

Promise of telling a story which shaped an entire generation of a region,

Got lured..

Nevertheless, will forever be grateful for all brilliant episodes we were shown.

The medium may have been lost, but creators will find another canvas, they still have brush in their hands,

Alvida na kahenge, safar tho abh bhi chalthi rahegi, kahi na kahi milthe rahenge 😊

Arshi just one request, IF Saras and Kumud meet in the end can we have a grand CB to celebrate it. I will look forward for that day, until then CB dosto milthe rahenge kahi na kahi.

You know, Toni, not just me, most of the people here like that, that's why we flock to a forum and are not content to just watch a show and forget it.

We all come here because we love stories that are well told, and love to talk about them, share our thoughts, say what we want, listen, absorb , assimilate, learn.

From our dear khanrocks, her one liners that hit the nail on the head to Ivy's deep diving in depth analysis, all come here because of a common passion.

Each writes in a style and length suited to them, so many are silent but equally committed readers with similar passion .

And the power of a story, is that it always transforms those who choose it! It marks their personality and moulds their attitudes.

So to expect to be a part of a social drama and not relate it to self and life is like swimming and expecting to remain dry! Every story will soak you, drench you, and fill every pore with its essence.

Hence the strong reactions, the love, the adulation, the anger and the hatred.

We each react to the story in our own ways, so what I may be able to accept becomes intolerable to another and so on!

Even when we love or hate a character, we are doing so because we are relating them to ourselves and accept or reject their qualities.
