Actually, no. I don't have any sympathy for Pramad esp after all the abuses to Kumud and the attempt to rape. While it is unfortunate regarding the way his family esp BD have treated him but he is not a child but an adult responsible for his own actions.

Yes what is intended to do is drive a point into Kumud that all that she keeps harping is a farce I approve that

However, yes I do not entirely approve of his means of doing it. Another in his place may used some other way for e.g. psyching Kumud to believe by may be getting the room all decorated etc etc etc etc and then try to break her on a emotional level till she accepts facts. Yes he is rather crude and direct in his approach

But if you check the scene he nowhere really wants to consummate the marriage ... He tucked at pullu but only with the sole intention of covering her head

Hence saying it attempt to rape is incorrect

And now the most important point ... Just because Pramaad is an possible (i say this cause I think the makers themselves don't know how to build his character) antagonist what he did was attempt to rape or may be molest.

I recollect a similar scene from another popular serial of the same actress wherein her husband is trying the point into her Over there he had surpassed much more in his limit in trying to prove the point but then he was a hero so them supposedly a couple so he is justified.

Similarly for any other 'Couple' if such an episode happens them chalta hai how romantic the hero is the victim Tab kaha pe jaati hai aap sab ki sympathy 😳

SIr Maam who ever you are This is a just a fictional character so it can be neglected to an extent but Please be careful when you use certain terms while alleging.

At the moment Kumud is not a good role model . Why she is putting up with so much . If she is a stronger person like she claims to b then why not make a good life for herself . DB is shown to b stronger person but she decided to become one after so much heartbreak .

Except blaming the parents for Pramad's conduct, I fully agree with your post. Come on, his mom is shown to be over indulgent who loves him blindly. Who hides or covers his wrong doings from the dad. She's at his beck and call yet he treats her like crap. I have seen BD trying to involve Pramad in work related matters. Once he asked him to be present at a rally but he never showed. Another time Pramad was more interested in his phone than the meeting at hand😆 The dude has zero respect for his parents.

I fault BD for allowing a grown ass man to be freeloading, abusing the family name and status instead of throwing him out and letting him smell his own sweat. Who knows, he might have been a different person.

What i like about Pramad is that he makes no bones about his dissatisfaction about being tied down and has been honest about it since day one.Its most unfortunate that he shows it in the most annoying (to say the least) way.
