I think it's not as simple and basic as Saras acting like a majnu. It's a pretty sadistic love story lets face it. He's not doing this to obtain Kumud's love like the Romeos or Majnus did. He's harming himself for two reasons, one because he feels at peace harming himself for Kumud's suffering and second to make her speak up & defend her dignity. These two have always felt more pain for the other, so much that it effects them physically.
Yes I agree with u here!! It is not about winning her love back. Saras is not expecting this from her. He knows she is no longer his but still he wants to see her living her life as the old kumud who would not tolerate injustice n definitely not abuse. Sadistic love story it is for sure!! Zakh n Narm they would give to each other!!
But still Saras technique is wrong this time n the other time also when he was hellbent on getting her maafi n when he wanted her to tell the truth to her in laws.
This dude Pramad is dangerous n he won't hesitate to harm kumud. Poor kumud she wanted to face him, proving that she has realized that it needs to stop but Pramad I am afraid is no match to her.
