Arshi, after having mis-read practically the entire episode on first viewing, I had to watch again..😉
Couple of points I liked this time around...
# When Kumud is talking to Kusum on the phone, she has this band-aid on her forehead, and her phone has band-aid all over it (remember Pramad had a go at it??!!) Love that attention to detail, ...
(and also realise therefore that pink-red horror can never be a mistake, they actually want her to wear it, and us to see it 😕)
# The Alak-Saras convo - most of the lines were about his jazbaatein, but right at the end Alak tells him to use soch-samajh instead... and sure enough he starts trying to help Kumud in a jazbaati fashion by forcing her to reveal "the truth", then realises his mistake and switches to soch-samajh, and compromise.
# As you said somewhere, Saras giving the sindoor to Kumud could have many interpretations, most likely being to say that he will help her to try save her marriage (the selfless Saras!), but ... what caught my attention was the moment when he goes into her room and picks up the sindoor box, he has a moment of pause where he reflects (past, broken dreams and promises?) and has a wry sort of smile? on his face, no self-pity, totally under-played (perfect Gautam Rode style). I think that was the best bit of the day for me!
