But I applaud the execution- sorry Hgg , I defer and differ- Saras part- his dazed yearning to reach out to her- any which way- a desperate plea- was well brought out in his voice. And then mortification of that long wish! She was not there! As this attempt deserves. I liked this script. It brought out- ' you can't 'murder' and say 'sorry'. ( quote) and look at the effect: he starts to 'understand' the 'denial'. And that's when I would start 'understand' his 'cause'.
As for Kumud's Ego!!...aah friends, you know where I am standing there! ( and the forum)😆

smrth..

agree..

just that ...I just feel this dazed, crybaby stuff has gone on for too long by saras...his 'understanding' is taking too long...in fact I am not even sure if he has even begun to understand...

Also if he has only now begun to understand the denial that's all the more sad...because it also means that all this time he was on his own trip of 'get kumud accept my apology' ...so again I,Me & Myself... even today his instinct was to run off again!

Also he is not reaching out at all...just coming & standing in front of someone is not reaching out...you need to speak out the most important thing first...he has not even said sorry...when he speaks whatever few words he goes about it in some cryptic general statements...kumud then responds and we go off on a tangent...I just do not see the urgency in his character's script...

If you had an important thing to say...even seek forgiveness...you will say it loud and clear any chance you get...

I also do not like the continuous stalking effect these scenes have now started to feel like...I mean any scene with kumud and I expect saras to pop up ...and just stare at her with the 'soulful' face and eyelocks...the effect to me is creepy...

In comparision look at kumud...she's got the short-end of the stick..in fact no stick at all...but she's moving on / adapting in whatever way possible...

So I guess it all boils down to the treadmill effect...the agony has been going on for far too long...they have to move this to the next step if not the next level...hopefully next week will get us there.

Arshi, I have to disagree with you today. What a mind blowing episode it was. Today I have a more clear picture of Kumud's and Saras mindframe. I was a bit confused with why Saras was still around and what Kumud was trying to do.

I didn't feel Saras was playing with her feelings and thinking selfishly. His way of apology might be wrong but he had tried to talk to her. He was praying hard for her to accept it, but when he opened his eyes she was not there. I just loved that scene. His words said it all "If you had forgiven me I would have been a little relieved". He is trying to rest his guilty conscience, trying to see if he can move on knowing he has lost her forever. Yes, he was trying to find a way to move on but today he realised what he had done is beyond forgiveness and apology. "Yahi meri saza hai, Meri dee huyi takleef ke saath thum jee rahi ho, vaise hi mujhe bhi iss pachtave ke saath zindagi bar jeena hoga". He doesn't want to hurt her anymore and decides to go away but looks like Pramad's ruthless attitude towards Kumud would stop him here. I feel even if she shuns him, he will be around to help and support her.

Kumud's anger towards him is understandable. She heard his apology, understood the words but where her life is today an apology is not enough. Like she says her heart is not big enough to forgive him.If she had got a good husband she might have not been harsh still, but the life she has got is no where a happy one. She is in this hell and all because of Saras. So his apology has actually done the reverse pshycology and all the hurt she had hidden is now bursting out in anger. She has come out of her silence and moved on to the next phase, lashing her pain at him in anger.

Today I felt we had actually moved on to next phase. Both were hanging on to the pain and the blame on both sides. Saras was desperately hanging on, clinging to any word of hope that she uttered, desperately clinging to the hope that he would wake up and realise what he had thrown away and it was making him suffer. Today he has made up his mind to accept that he has lost her and his suffering is his punishment. Kumud had tried to swallow the lump in her throat when the entire world of dreams crashed around her. But as soon as she heard the apology, "Betrayal" is what she remembered. His betrayal was more hurtful than his words of apology and now the burning fire inside her is bursting to get out, screaming for an escape. She has started lashing her pain on him and he will take it all silently.

I am not even sure what to say about BD and his wife.A mother who has pampered and hidden all her son's faults and BD,he wants Kumud to bring back his son. How could he even think of shouldering such a responsibility on him and Kumuds is trying to shoulder it but with pain. Saras wants to help her but she rejects him on his face. She will hold to his betrayal and draw strength from it.Whenever she gets beaten by Pramad, she will remember Saras betrayal and would think she can do this, she is strong enough to stand alone, hurt him and face her life.

i completely agree with u!

Oh no hotdogg, we can't allow that. We are waiting only for Samud ending and after seeing both Saras and Kumud together before the fire in front of the goddess I still have the strong belief that we will get Samud ending. Fingers crossed

Arshi ...

I found today's episode quite Good ... lots of Drama ... lots of IMPACT !! ( See it made you write that you " Hated " it ) 😊 ... the reactions evoked really Strong ...
There was that Power to move the audience in the Emotions on display today... and that is what a good show should have, ...

As for the Apology from Saras ... i think more than for himself , he wants it for Kumud ... He knows that she is Burning with Anger ... He feels all her Hurt... Pain ... Agony... equally if not more so ... But he also knows that with all that Pent up Anger inside her , she can never hope to get any kind of Peace ... and he knows that the only Antidote for this Anger is some kind of Forgiveness from her side ... More than him , this Forgiveness will assuage her Anger and Pain to some extent ... and then maybe she can feel some peace inside herand start living again ...Till she does not let go of this Anger and Pain , there can be no respite for her.

As for Buddhidhan ...Yes ... i totally agree with you ...infact it is criminal on his part to have tied an Innocent Girl in matrimony to that completetly Decadent , Violent , Psychotic son of his ... and ruined her complete life , fully knowing the reality of his son ... His crime is totally Unpardonable .

But we all know that Kumud is one of those " who shall Break but shall not Bend ... " so of course this status quo shall continue for some time ... She shall not be forgiving him in any hurry ... and we shall continue to get these Dramaticscenes ...and this Tension between these two .

( and hopefully this shall be good for the show in terms of TRPs too ) 😊

Now let me go and read all the other posts here on the thread ... I posted my response to the epi directly after reading your post. without reading the views of all our other friends here... let me see how they feel about the epi today. . , .

hotdogg, personally I feel he won't even try to apologize to her anymore. He is just going to take what ever she is going to throw at him. He seems to have accepted this as his punishment and prayaschit as far as I can see. I may be wrong but looks like next week we might get a more clear picture.

Hgg friend, I do understand 'trade mill' part. And now am resolved- no more long winding indian soap after this one.'Trade mill' patience is too much a torture....I would rather dismount this bandwagon at first 'chance'. But you know, The BOOK and two leads are now holding me by cuff- so no respite!😕 Else, if this one, which I never feared much as a real sadist impediment (because it does not 'efface', rather provides a 'contrasting' chance- so to say), is proving so hard than just imagine how torturous it would be to mere remember the final curtain! Am disturbed, why I am continuing? TRAPPED.🤢

Meanwhile coming to today- as we call it 'Journey'- just watch it again if u have some time. Agree the plot is clumsy. But in hindsight it's a good stratagem for a screenplay. Juxtaposing a long and a denied apology on another's speech...and then superimposing His voice, where 'conversation' is only between the two, and so 'private' even in such public! it's not losing any 'plausibility' or its intended 'impact' per se...
Specially after it starts in His voice, " jo aap ne khoya he wo hum..." Then onwards, his remorseful voice and her tremulous eyes take over the 'dialogue'. Look at a poignant note in usage of 'hum' and 'aap'. It's a sadness relived. 'Loss' (right to intimacy) acknowledged- respectfully submitting. He admits, "twice I did not value my fortune-you." He also admits, ' I am not deserving," and he also informs- first revelation to her, " I rushed to undo the damage but Fate overtook me" By this, one small 'amend'- one only balm- that he can offer her, " it was not a 'betrayal' "...and then, his earnest, ney almost as if his life was at stake- pray for grant of a 'respite'...( script was good enough to incorporate visual grant/denial- 'stay or leave' as a signal in his own entreaty!)...and then...a deserved rebuff. 'Plea' not accepted- She is Gone! ( I anticipated)...Look at the invisible body blow, he brought out in his eyes! ( Bow to GR-Jenny and director)...
And link this scene to their individual reactions- She to her idols, " I don't want to be a 'God' milord!'...and he, ' how did I even expect forgiveness?!' There he retracted a tiny step back from 'me, myself, my pain' and there I pitied him little more!

And yes, her 'answer'; as he asks her in pre cap, " who 'wounded' you? " She answers this Navinchandra, " 'Kisi' Saraswatichandra ne kiya he!" 🤢🤢
My friend, this was a good patch of 'journey' I propose. ivy will enlighten us more!😊

kadaal, again agree with u! asking for apology is very small as compared to the situation she is in, partly because of saras and partly because of the hasty decision of her father to marry her off without thinking of the consequences! now as u said he will not apologize but take what she throws at him and torture himself with the pain she is going through..after all they r one spiritually, if one is hurt how can the other live in peace!
