@IdiotViewer (an ironical username, considering how sane and intelligent your posts are😊!)...I agree with you completely!
Jennifer seems to have suddenly come to life for the last few episodes!⭐️ I think she is feeling much at ease portaying the angry, young woman rather than the love-struck one!🤔I know many pages have been wasted discussing the chemistry or rather the lack of it between Jennifer and Gautam...but it is a fact! You can see that they are uncomfortable with each other (especially Jenny)...because in all their scenes together (more so the romantic ones), she looks stiff and unnatural! The KC scene was so contrived...I just could not feel Kumud's pain on being seperated from him, nor could I feel her joy and elation at seeing him come to meet her!😕But she totally sold me on the one where she begs him on the phone and then her subsequent reactions...even though they were so illogical and OTT, Jennifer nailed it totally!👏 (Ofcourse, the creatives went overboard with it later on...what with burning things and doing antim sanskaar)Gautam on the other hand is superbly convincing in almost all his scenes...he looks at ease in the romantic ones and also does full justice to the emotional ones!⭐️I really wish the creatives would do something and redeem Kumud's character...why does a woman need to be so angry and bitter and spiteful only to be portrayed as being strong?😕 If Kumud had broken down emotionally...if she had shed more tears...if she had cried out for Saras...if she had begged her parents to do something...would it have made her characte weak?Is a woman helplessly in love weak? Is a woman, who doesn't give up hope weak? Is a woman, who pines for her man and waits for him, despite whatever happened, weak?I don't think so! It is natural for women to be more emotional...to be vulnerable and even self-destructive when it comes to love...that is the beauty of a woman falling in love! What would have made sense was Saras not coming back to her...and then Kumud's feelings undergoing a change...the grief turning into anger...with time. This whole episode only makes her look like an oppourtunist, who could not wait to get rid of a penniless and broken spirited man and start her life anew with someone of better prospects!I am sure, this is not what SLB had planned for his lead heroine to be...but unfortunately this is what she looks like right now!
