Is it her beauty? There are many women who are beautiful...I personally find the girl playing Kusum to be far prettier! Even Guman is a stunner!

Is it her intelligence? We have already seen the proof of that!😆 Any woman who agrees to marry a rank stranger, after just being rejected by a man she claimed to know so well, is anything but intelligent!

Is it her virtue? Ahem...girls who have sex with their fiancees, in their own home, right across the hall where their parents sleep cannot make any claims to virtue!

Is it her inherent goodness? I don't think so! She gave hell to Saras for having rejected her the first time...never trying to understand why he refused to get married...her ego was hurt (just like it has been hurt now) and she simply wanted to teach him a lesson and hence forced him to come down to her place and then went about insulting him at every given oppourtunity!

Is it her charming nature? Hardly! She picks up fights with everyone...is frequently rude...loses her temper on small things and has no patience. She put all the blame of the PMS on Saras, as if he had forced himself on her instead of being a mutual act between two consenting adults!

Then why is such a flawed individual set up to be a goddess, for whom no man is good enough?😕 Why does her father keep talking about her being his pride? What about his other daughter? What has Kumud done that makes her so great?

Either the creatives should have shown something to prove that Kumud was indeed the paragon of all virtues...or they should have simply let her be a normal character! A girl who makes mistakes...a girl who has her own set of faults and failings...a girl who is real!

Atleast, that would have made her more likeable!

Big props to her 👏 And I agree wholeheartedly with all your points. I look at her, feel awe at the actress portraying her and that's that. Whereas with Saras, my heart breaks with him. Kumud also has this emotional edge over him, she has an entire support system in her family, but look at what hell that has taken her into. I cannot belief the PMS is being shoved under the carpet... This week's episodes have moved at a breakneck pace... I've been catching up on initial episodes as well, and the contrast in pace stuns me completely. Due to wilful time constraints so many things have been disregarded. Logic has gone out of the windows. Characters are made to conveniently dissapear. And while I'm engrossed, I still cannot fail to notice the absence of such. Maybe because Star has put the show under scanner or maybe they wanted to coincide the biggest heartbreak with the 100th epi... I dunno. But, one thing is certain... there is no going back from here. Kumud's love will forever be questioned by viewers, and her ego, the way it is being amplified will overshadow all the positive aspects of the character, if it continues like this for long. Sad. But this is what the Creatives have decided. To what end, though, I wonder...
