The strangest part is that Kumud is remembering everything about Saras...but not one memory of the PMS!😕 Hain? He was certainly the first man in her life...wouldn't it be completely natural for her to think about that night? Why are the CV's shying away from showing that aspect?
And I completely agree with Kumud cheating on Pramad and his family! If she wasn't this righteous and high and mighty, one would have understood that she was simply being practical! But, Kumud and her family always claim about her virtues and how she is this sarva-gun sampan girl, who can do no wrong! Then how can she sit in that Shaadi Ka Mandap, with her head held high? Kumud lives in a traditional set-up and what she has done is morally and socially, a sin.
Either she should have taken the high-road, and refused to marry anyone at all (Like Lolita in Parineeta, now that was a woman truly in love and yet, not giving up on her self-respect)...or she should have confessed her past to her would be husband before going ahead with this wedding!
I just hope the creatives redeem her character a little bit by showing her confessing this secret to her husband asap! Else, not only has SLB created a heroine who gives precedence to her ego and vanity rather than to love, but she is also a cheater and a hypocrite! Not very likeable!
PS : Gun not talking about the PMS to Kumud was indeed strange! That would perhaps be the first thing that any worried mother would have mentioned...telling her daughter to keep quiet about it or confess it to her husband, whatever! But Gun seems to have some sort of selective amnesia!
