There is a very subtle point here that needs to be noted. Comes from personal experience and am sure many will agree.

Humans make mistakes. Big and small. Saras and Kumud are flawed too. Which is fine. We have discussed here how things should have been or how could he/she have done this etc. Because, based on the projection of the character we saw so far, we feel they could have easily thought/acted in another way.

But the reality is, there is an innate nature of a human being, a trait or a set of traits that define him/her strongly and I am talking about negative traits. When things go out of hand or when there is lot of troubl/upheaval, they fall back to those traits. It is very true.

Like Saras fell back to 'me and my sorrow' and Kumud to 'me and my ego and he doesn't deserve me' lines. These traits are fall backs and are not easy to overcome. Doesn't mean they dont love each other. Doesnt mean too much. They just happen when there is adversity.

A very fast episode indeed Arshi. I have always tried to understand who is more impulsive Saras or Kumud and never get an answer to that. Today I felt like VC was bothered about his family's pride and his ego rather than his daughter's future. He knows Pramad's family but that doesn't give him the right to marry off his daughter to them on the same date without understanding her emotions. It was as if he shouldn't fail, this one he has to win and like for Dughbaa he is again going to make the same mistake for Kumud. I am almost ok with Kumud's decision since she is in complete shock. She pleaded with Saras and since he rejected her, her life is absolutely shattered. She is not even thinking what is right and wrong except that Saras betrayed her trust and love. Saras realised his mistakes, tried to call her and reached RN. But sometimes a moment lost in once life is a moment gained in another's...sadly here destiny helped Pramad and these two are left to suffer. The last scene was heart wrenching, everything between them is burned to ashes with their feelings, emotions and love.
