and i never liked the way kumud deals with gumaan.not bcz i m her fan 😆 its bcz u have to respect who ever is older then u ..no matter what ''baap ma ko paap nai charte'' and kumud's character does have the tendency to give dirty look .she even did that to LN .and thats why saras shouted remember VC vs LN fight .so my point is dukba kuch bhi kare tu guman ko kuch maat bol ...

Perhaps, Symbolically they were exchanging fitting mementoes.i mean, they were exchanging symbols which remind one of the other. So Kumud gave him 'her' essence ( exactly his word in request)- that is colourful and full of life. While

Saras gave her 'himself'- which, in essence, was bland, austere but pure as white.

Now I agree, the dialogue they put on Kumud was misleading- it was she who put colours in his austere life. But there is a distant explanation- by saying,'you put colours in my life' would she mean, ' You awaken love in me- a consort love- which brought another kind of colours to my life."? Again, this remains a far fetched explanation. Wish her dialogue would have been more defined...as doubted. On symbolism, they are not much far off, IMO.

Then there were again intended hints for the future...So may be they have to take some risk on the 'dialogue' part.

@ Hug, Yes, it was a miss. Viewer expected to almost happen it before camera zoomed on the parting hands😕...may we expect a short return- like almost 'no adieu' in the Haweli- that did happen in Karkhana?!😊

there is a loop also and a more simple explanation...

kumud as a memento hands him the box of colors to remember her while also indicating that he has put color (love) in her life PLUS indicating that when he is gone all color has gone out from her life.

saras gives her the white chunni to indicate the purity of his love when she remembers him PLUS indicating that when he returns he will color it with her colors and bring color back to her life.

Both are incomplete without each other yet make beautiful colored fabric when together. ..the sum being bigger than its parts.

Then there is the symbolism...he will spend his life trying to fulfil his promise to bring color back in her life till they unite...

while she will alwayss have the pristine white purity of his love to hold on to till they unite...

Arshi welcome back. Missed you.. I am glad you are back for today's episode. What an emotional episode it is. My heart is broken seeing the last scene. The way Kumud stands holding that white chunni to herself was heart wrenching. She has given all the colours of her life and stands their alone. Though she is surrounded by all those colours she holds that white chunni. I didn't like him giving her the white chunni, why not the red one instead. She had worn the red chunni for a few moments, that is when he comes back but until then she needs to wait for him. He will come back to colour her, but why do I feel it is a long wait for her. He disappears from her sight leaving her still in midst of all those colours, those colours which once filled her life but today she holds only the white one dear to her heart. She needs him to be back in her life to bring those colours back in her life again.

Tera aise jaana yaad rahega...

Phir milne ka intezaar rahega...

Tere waade per aitbaar rahega...

Abh jab tak zindagi rangeen na hojaye...

Mere dil mein ye gham sada rahega...

I agree with many here,a hug was needed before he left. CV's itni kanjoosi kyum...Missing you Nandy. Hope you are having a good time.
