smrth!

...sorry arshi..hav short term memory...illusion 2 image /reality...that poolwala scenes..or that preengagement moon wala scene...

Both, pool wala and moon wala, started with kumud asking him to see only her reflection in the pool when she wears the saree for the first time. the whole of last week was about image vs reality.

I think we will see a lot of dard-e-judaai scenes the coming week. The kite and matka will keep reappearing as symbols of their love - a Kati patang and an imperfectly made matka are such powerful symbols, which will represent so many different things at so many points!

Yesterday Saras saying, the pot was imperfect because he was alone when he made it, and the kite broke off when she was flying it alone

For Kumud it became a symbol of how she will be without him - past vs future

These CVs will kill us with such stuff!

I hope so too, but the intense goodbyes yesterday, had such a ring of finality to them, there was no cheerful see you soon or the excitement of an oncoming wedding.

Because such an emotional farewell was actually not called for, for such a short separation!

also does n novel yash n her mother had d any siginificant imp role??

I think kaki and yash are just biding their time, one by one Guman army is growing stronger and one day they shall all unite and strike. Will Kumari be the ultimate traitor to betray Saras and Kumud? I hope not but fear so .

Very good post as usual. I always read your post but replying for first time. I must say you are excellent writer. Yes, I had heavy heart watching their separation scene.Especially that white chunari and their fingers touching each other, as if for last time, before hands getting separated was too hard to bear. But I hope it is not judai forever...these few lines from HAHK come to my mind...

Tumse juda hokar muje door Jana hain...

Pal bar ki judai Phir Laut Aana hain...

Saathiya sang rahega Tera pyaar...

Rang layegaa yeh intezaar...

I want to be optimistic and look at it from this perspective. They say the period between engagement and marriage is most beautiful and memorable. I want the same for these two love birds too...separation physically will make the heart grow fonder, they say...and may be these two will use technology to it's best use...and spend as much time together even while been away...even though it was very emotional separation, but the hoping that bond would get more stronger and this handsome dulhaa will come to take his dulhania away...

arshi, i am happy that our show is slowly getting back on track..this separation track can be beautiful if well executed..to be honest the intensity was lacking in their scenes together..i was getting bored to the point where i did not feel like watching it..i hope that the cvz keep up the good work!

Yes, esp when you see episodes like this you all the more realize what wasn't. I think this will be sustained. The new team has now a lot of clarity on what works and what doesn't, I think

that white thing ...i hated it... and yes i do agree with ur apprehensions too ...me too made a thread ...to vent out my tears ...and till now had all about ten pages of tears ki ganga 😆

Thanks Shana, and no matter how much we try to rationalize. White dupatta is too strongly entrenched in our minds with widowhood, that we cannot think otherwise.

Crushed flowers scattered, white odhni, not good omens.

arshi, i think instead of being sad we all should be happy, now the real adventure starts, it will be interesting to watch how the story unfolds, so far its going according to the movie i watched which was supposed to be close to the novel itself!

Theory A; Once they start dishing absolute crap, we may comfortably (and haughtily) climb down the wagon. Safe and sound.😃 Theory B, long winding soaps invariably degenerate in to garbage, availing us this escape.😈 This, I have concluded from my previous two exp. Again chance hooks that I got addicted for a few months. (And I was mortally embarrassed, for previously used to be arch critic to Mom's Kyunki saas...wala addiction.)...But once off, didn't look back a day on those two soaps (PR and YRKKH, ask not the expansions).
SC is a unique case. Long winding or not, it may never turn junk. For Source may always act as a guide line to it, bringing it back from periodical slacks, I feel. Until the end, when 'source' itself turns irrational. So long haul my friend.😕

Another theory ( question) ;why, why they are not producing limited period serials- predetermined nos, of episodes/ seasonal serials? It would give us such well conceptualised products- no distortions on elongation. I had such a wonderful experience with an extra ordinary watch- 'Meri zaat zarra e benishaan he'. My sole experience with a Pakistani serial ( 19 episodes). Recommended by a friend.👏

Now I have another theory over 'ring' too. May I start? This being a theory day for me.😆
