Mary, I agree with your post. Although, I personally liked Saras' proposal... just because it was just a nice sum up of his character development and how Kumud was the hand behind that. (After all, this show is about him right? So I found it fitting for the proposal to be about how he's developed as an individual because of Kumud) I find that the rest of your post is very apt.
Yes, the logic ki baat here is lacking. Immensely. I feel like the plot is just way too scattered these days. It's like I don't know what's going on anymore, because there are too many stories being intertwined into one, each lacking consistency and rhythm, with each competing for the main stage within the show (referring to Dukhbaa/Guman, Kumari/Dad, Kumari/Umesh, Dukhbaa/Kumari etc and Saras/Kumud)
I really feel that once these sub-stories within one are back in check as they were beautifully balanced in March/April, the consistency and the real, unique feel of this show will return. Right now, I can commend Gautam Rode and Jennifer Singh Grover with their very flawless acting, however, the actors can only do so much to cover for an inconsistent story.
The PMS track first of all, started and ended in a whir, taking along with it, the three months of Kumud's characterization we got to witness. Indeed, the CVs created too much of a rift between the night and day after (I wasn't the only one who was confused about Kumud crying uncontrollably) but they amended this through Saras defending Kumud in front of Guman for the first time. I feel like each track really needs to be developed. I remember the Gau Hatya track took a solid two or three weeks. These days, each track is being overtaken by a new one and it just seems really messy. I can't figure it out.
There are little annoying loopholes that really aren't being tied into lovely bows as they were before... Some tracks are just sitting there without budging, some are going too fast, and some are being unexplored completely... and I think that's what's annoying us viewers as a whole, and affecting TRPs. With a steady and damaakedaar, balanced story come amazing TRPs.
All in all, I'm glad we have such a post. I really hope the CVs realize that they're very talented. It's a given, considering how well they were writing just a few weeks ago. They just need to be confident of their talent and continue writing the amazing stuff that they were before... the TRPs will come alongside the good storyline and the already amazing cast we have.
