Sunjay Kapur's sister Mandhira drops a post on Rakhi; reveals mom Rani Kapur wept inconsolably

Late Sunjay Kapur’s presence is being sorely missed by his family, company and friends. His mother Rani Kapur whose husband Surinder Kapur formed Sona Comstar in the mid – 1990s recently in a press statement said she wanted to know the exact cause of her son’s demise. She said the firm Sona Comstar was built with a lot of love, sacrifice and resilience. Rani Kapur said it was painful to see that some people were trying to usurp the legacy of the company. This made people wonder if there was a feud over the assets of Sunjay Kapur. He was born in the US and holds a US passport.

His sister Mandhira shared an emotional post for Rakhi. She wrote that while she tried to stay composed, their mother wept bitterly thinking about untimely demise of her son. Mandhira Kapur wrote that she has to now protect what their father and he built for Sona Comstar. She said he would do a better job if he was there but she knew he was watching over her. This kind of resonates with Rani Kapur’s sentiment of keeping alive the legacy of Sona Comstar. His second Priya Sachdev has returned to the UK with her son, Azarias and daughter Safira.

Mandhira Kapur and Sunjay Kapur had a dispute, which she addressed in a note after his demise. She said what was a minor issue turned into a full blown thing due to ego. Mandhira said they did not interact for some time due to this. She also wrote that the demise of her brother reminded her that life was too short to remain angry or unforgiving. Nandita Mahtani who was his first wife sent her love. Of late, Karisma Kapoor and her son Kiaan were seen in Delhi. Representatives of the actress said she has no interest in the reported inheritance dispute.
