Thanks for writing the real story's synopsis. I am not too much into literature so short stories and synopsis are for me😉, I have read the original movie's synopsis too and was eager to see how Bhansali could attack the story as it is an unconventional love story to show specially looking at telly audience's attention span..
The TV track is entirely different from original except for characters name. Wonder where he is going.
I read updates only time to time, waiting for unusual story from movie synopsis, which I believe is not there😕 and no, pre marital sex is not new or bold step( as lot suggesting, used a lot already, I wish he picked better storyline. It doesn't go with Kumud's characterization so far, hope he can clear this mess elegantly..

I'm glad you brought this up ShahZur4Cruiser. I just started watching the show (catching up on the previous episodes now) and wondered if people realized that Saras and Kumud's love story is not a happy one.
I like how Mr. Bhansali has set this tale in the modern era, but that also makes the expected conclusion harder to stomach as values have shifted a lot since the time depicted in the novel. I for one, do not think the conclusion or the reasoning behind it will work with modern audiences...
P.S. Does anyone find Saras as infuriating as I do in the earlier episodes?

I think i like our version better as there is no attempt of suicide or kusum marrying saras yet. Why did they change chandrakant to sunny, and from chandralakshmi to saraswati and gunsundari to gunniyal? Is it because we are in a modern age now?
