Arshi, first and foremost, I would like to give you a huge thank you for such a lovely post yet again. Until I saw your latest CB, I found today's episode very scattered. I felt like there were too many perspectives, too many stories going on at once, that it was hard for me to really ride a single wave, being a single track, as I felt that there were too many waves crashing at me. But your post finally allowed me to ride the usual Saraswatichandra wave of emotions, and I sincerely thank you for that!😊

However, contrary to how I felt about the episode, I very much believe that today's episode was vital in catching up with the story, admist all the wedding preparations going on. So not only were we seeing our main protagonist prep for his proposal, but today's episode was able to really further develop the plot, and foreshadow what is going to happen in the short-term and long-term futures. Some points especially I'd like to focus upon:

1) Saraswati's jewellery: even though I particularly noted the missing logic, I'm certain it has something to do with what's coming up.

2) Laxminandan and Saras allow the last wall between them crumble. When Saras says that finally Saraswati can be at peace... Although it was the only fulfilling thing for me to watch today, there was something ominous about it. Perhaps it has some foreshadowing utilization in regards to Saras' character development as the story continues?

3) Radha Krishna comparison that Saras makes directly... I didn't like that at all. It kind of hits light on the original storyline

4) Palmistry scene. However, Saras' determination to let his love shine above all else speaks volumes to me. It seems like reassurance, but that could be my brain trying to block out the pain of Saras and Kumud separating. 😆 😭

PRECAP was a whole matter entirely! I'm kind of scared looking at that... Hats off to Jennifer Singh Grover yet again for her outstanding, realistic performance. She seemed very afflicted, but my heart tells me it's not the pre-marital sex scene we've been anticipating... I don't know why, but I think it'd be very unfitting to the plot if the scene happened now. I'm not going to speculate further... But I hope the lost mood I've been mourning since Friday comes back tomorrow! 😳

It was as if, there was something new planned by SLB

All were told to mark their attendance

State their position in the war about to begin

Recap their points

And take their places

And VC, I was half in love with dramatic, taklu, teddy bear VC!

At least for continuity, he could have been shown bald!

Seeing Gun talking to him was weird,

Going to bed with one man and waking up with another, haila! Scandalous !

Lovely post as usual

While it looked scattered, to me it was redrawing of battle lines

Here's what I feel, all speculation of course

Last week end, there was a change of thought by CVs

So pyaar main doobe Samud was suddenly changed to

Saras can't share his feelings

I think for whatever turn the story is about to take

Parental approval of the relationship is required

And that's why since Friday we are seeing this track

And yesterday was a kind of laying down of facts and positions

Erasing from our minds the earlier track of haldi, mehendi etc!

I am curious to know where it's going!

And the precap - something major has happened but I too think its not what we think, too early for that

Can't wait for today!

Yes! I think I'm just having difficulty transitioning into the next phase of the story. I think that largely has to do with the fact that the last phase, our SaMud romance was just too comfortable for me. I liked this little cushion of love and romance I was sitting on. And now that the CVs are pulling it from underneath me slowly, I am unwilling to let go!

Definitely! I can really see your perspective, and in fact, I'm willing to go with it. Indeed, there are battle lines being redrawn, and I think now that they are, we should be prepared. Finally, the foundation for the story has been set. Abh aayega asli serial. I have an ominous feeling about this... curse me and my empathy for these two lovebirds 🤔

1) VC...changed suddenly...and full of luxuriant hair!...the first scene with DB ... I almost felt her expressions were like "Who is this strange man giving me advice?"...PH butchered the poor new guy's entry...and how can they think of getting a bald man replaced with a one with hair!...at least get another bald man!

2) Kumud...one day she's 100% sure of her love...now suddenly she's not so sure...and after our poor dikra has giddily told her a few minutes back that he's gong to propose and ask her to marry her!...

3) Gumaan...the whole attempt of the jewellery box was just to frame kumud as a thief!...that's silly closure of a possible track...thought Gumaan was much smarter than that...

4) Yash...how did he figure out the 'expensive' necklace belongs to Gumaan?...also if the jewellery box is in kumud's room, how did a girl open it and start wearing the necklace?...

5) and all the dark pointers...
- palmist says saras has a love marriage but some cut in his love story
- dikra taking blessings and calling out Krishna - Radha...saying he wants his love with Kumud to be like that!... hello!!!
- kusum back to saraji from saras bhai...

6) precap...mother of 'what was that!'
For a moment I was wondering ...is she so hysterical because she's gone through the pre-marital thingie and regretting?...than realized that's anyway not going to happen basis all the clarifications from gautam...so what was it all about?

today was already a deviation from the spoilers which were published...today SC was to ask VC for kumud's hand in marriage...idhar to VC hi badal gaya!

Was a character like VC let go coz he does not have continuous dates for round the clock shooting coz they have no epi bank or he was frustrated with his character/...

Was this mish mash because gautam could not shoot for long since he is not well and they have to a patch up to screen the epi on schedule?

dunno...did not work at all for me today...
big mish mash...maybe the worst epi in this season so far for me ...

at least your perspective got some positive thing going...

hotdogg, i second u on that! did not get positive vibes from the episode..vc suddenly got changed which did upset me..then all that u mentioned did not make any sense..kumud was nowhere to be seen..one lead suddenly disappears! no samud at all😭, one of the main reasons for me to watch the show..now kusum says sarasji..what was that! r they trying to change the lead! its too late now, i don't think any of the female characters in the show other than kumari(maybe) will be able to create the same magic as samud did..unless they r sticking to the original story its ok, but no change of the lead at this point!

the only part i liked was LN and saras's scene..heart touching! the rest did not make any sense especially the precap..i agree, one of the worst episodes i have ever seen😕!

I feel even the filler episodes have something to say. Once again the Radha-Krishna referance at the end by Saras himself made the story more definite. Gumaan warned Kumud too that Saras will leave her one day which will turn out to be true. So they are still throwing in hints of the original story.

Regarding change of VC, I am going to miss Yatin terribly but have to say the new one reminded me of Nandini''s father in HDDCS so warmed up to him too.

Precap: Could it be that they did the deed?

I really missed Kumud thrhoughout today! Something was missing without her sparkling presence.

reemz, i missed kumud too! saras seemed incomplete without her...i missed samud scenes, and above all the real VC! i kinda liked that actor, he had that spark and great screen presence, the new one seems to be a good actor, but still miss yatin😕!

however, earlier if I felt sometimes that the story was going was too slow...now it feels the story is going too fast..😕

wish the CVs get a sense of the right speed soon...

I guess today was a turning point!

so I'm not the only one thinking it's going too fast. I don't know, it's just a lot to wrap your head around. It's hard enough for me to wrap my head around all the steadfast, crashing, heavy emotions every day, too! 😕

@ bold-nope. Actually, I feel most of their episodes move fast, even the pottery making ones! A lot happens in each episode if one cares to notice. I just dont get it when people complain SC moves too slow😕

@ Arshi - I added some more thoughts in Srushti's thread. Dont know if I should post them here again!
