You said it all, arshi!
With so little screen time for Samud today, I hope they got a well-deserved break, maybe a half-day off?😆 Nobody deserves it more than these two...👏

on mehndi ceremony kumud got mehndi in her hand by saras

on haldi ceremony she got haldi by Saras

so iska matlab

on marriage ceremony she will get sindoor by Saras 😃

iska matlab saras kumud ka Gandharv Vivaah will happen
😲

OMG matlab wo bhi hoga ☺️

Now is my logic right or my mind having high expectations...pls tell ???

Note Gandharv Vivah is one of the very old marriage forms where couple promise to be each others eg. marriage of King Dushyant and Shakuntla

Edit - Shana's post above @ blue - a thought, a possibility, a point to discuss perhaps😳

But Nandy gandharva vivah also means that real vivah will not happen

because gandharva vivah does not have any social acceptance

Kaadal, according to Hindu rituals, ring exchange is not a symbol of marriage, sindoor and mangalsutra are , so when he puts sindoor in her maang, and /or ties mangalsutra, it will be considered as vivah,

happychappy, Nandy has so nicley highlighted the amount of hard work put in, by both cast and crew

infact, as she rightly pointed out, the crew have it even worse than the cast

Gandharva Vivah yes...But official engagement too seems to be on card. It's consistent with story. Engagement was intact when SC returned from RN...but then Cvs are creating their own synthesis here so don't know...but in toeing the original, they avail a beautiful seal and closure to that abrasion The Letter. Had a speculation who would reveal...by logic , it has to be the refuser. so how would he go about it?? I think, this time with full verve and vigour...
He may declare in front of whole assemblage (for once, all 'loudness' of Indian theatrics in full swing...no 'subtle' minimalism there 😛), but specifically to two sets of parents, more specifically directing himself to VC and Guniyal, " Kaka and Kaki, will you please bless me with the most Precious 'Pearl' of your Love? I won't ask for anything more from the Gods above!"

i too would love a dramatic declaration of love in front of the whole family, I can actually see the whole drama, and VCs hyper reaction, and then a beautiful engagment.

I wonder why didnt they go with engagement track straight away instead of this wedding

That is sad if its true. Nobody can stand in for an actor, but what wd be the reason for not giving time off to crew?

Time and budget constraints, TV crew work long hours and few breaks, because of continuity

That's understandable...It affords them showing all out melding into each other...besides, all rituals of a real marriage performed on them without showing the actual! 1) Mahendi 2) Haldi touched by the 'groom' 3) Hasta melap- they show it twice- Saras passing his palm over her Mahendi anointed palm and then again placing his own hand on her hand resting on the wall. 4) Sindoor...only two elements are missing; Kanyadaan and Fera...now this later they may yet come up in some beautiful conjecture/sequence...

Gandharva Vivah? this is the first I heard of...

So you guys are saying that this sort of vivah is not accepted by the family nor the society...
Thats a really interesting story line you know... I always wondered how this muqammal mohabbat ki adhoori daastan would unfold.. this Gandharva vivah is surely very interesting.

Gautam tweeted today that they are shooting today for today's telecast ... that says enough for the half baked episode. Everything felt a little incomplete today... the situation is understandable but this will affect the TRP's... I just hope they get it all back on track.
